On January 1st 2020 I joined the @nike 100K running challenge to complete this running goal within the 31 days of the month of January. However, I set myself the task of achieving the 100K total by running 20 consecutive daily 5K runs. I am very happy to have reached the total total in 19 consecutive runs and also to finish the challenge in position 16,114 of 94,060 participants, or in the top 16%. For experienced and seasoned younger runners this is probably a drop in the ocean, however, in my age group it’s possibly more rewarding to achieve.
