Still catching up on South Park, and I finished Part 1 & 2 of Post Covid last night and man, I really didn't expect to tear up at the very end 😭😭.

Seeing the kids all grown up and happy (aside from Cartman, oops) was just really nice. I mean, Kyle having kids?? Potentially Wendy and Stan getting together(in the new timeline) and TWEEK AND CRAIG ARE STILL TOGETHER???? Iconic. 100000/10. I loved it, I didn't expect it to go the way it did, but I like the way Matt & Trey took it. I know I'm like 3 years late but MAN.

Late night autistic art ramblings.

IT STANDS TO REASON that if I can create character sheets for future reference, knowing that some of these sheets have to be useful to me quite possibly years down the line, then I could theoretically create future reference sheets that are not for human characters but for building styles.

And, theoretically, I should be able to learn how to draw different styles of architecture in the same way that I can learn how to draw in different art styles and then apply that style to different shapes and sizes of subject. There will be some shapes that each style prefers, but ultimately, it seems a similar concept.

And since the architecture in my graphic novel is usually me combining two or more specific city's architecture designs, I would indeed need a reference sheet made specifically for me by me.

It may make sense to seek out or else build reference sheets for each town/country and THEN work on the combinations from there.

Some combos featured in season 1 of my graphic novel, which is a road trip arc so I have to (or well, really really want to) make each place feel rich and unique!

And MY character isn't going to fuck off and marry her [REDACTED] in the last episode and taint all the beautiful backgrounds forever! YOU FUCKING DIPS.

I suppose I ought to go looking for other beautiful and interesting places to inspire my work. With the exception of a couple places that need to be unappealing but should nevertheless be interesting, I mostly choose settings based on what is prettiest because when I draw stuff, I feel like I'm there, and I only want to spend time in nice places when I can.

Life is hard enough without stomping down on my saturated colors for the sake of realism.

Anyway this whole thing has been brought to you by me spending most of my life learning to draw and only recently realizing I don't know how to draw backgrounds, edibles, autism, and of course the MVP insomnia

I just subscribed to you on ao3!! for some reason I keep on not seeing that you replied to me until really late after. I'm looking forward to reading your story if you do post it!! How have you already written so many words just since november?? That is so impressive!!! wow wow wow!! hmm when I was writing a big fic (only 19k words lmao i have nothing on you) I posted like part of it as a first chap and because I got a load of lovely feedback I got re-motivated with it, idk if you'd maybe (1/2)

want to do that? But if you do I'd rec having the rest of the story planned out just so you don't put too much pressure on yourself with future updates. Just I know how hard it can be to stay motivated and I hope you're doing okay?? I'm honestly so impressed that you've written so much - best wishes with the rest of it!! editing and stuff can be really hard and boring but once you get it done it's well worth it!! 19k words is incredible!!!!!!!!! i can assure you not even half of that out of my 74k fic is good lmao, plus quality > quantity, and i’m 100000% sure you write amazing & once i have some free time i want to read some of your fics!!!

i got to 70k during november because my writing pattern is writing a bunch in a month, then going into writing hibernation for years and years, so nanowrimo is a huge help. also, your suggestion of posting part of it and getting motivated is really good!!! i might do that once i’m wrapping everything up, but at the moment my outline is basically just running with whatever is going on and hoping to get to the plot points i have planned eventually, so basically no outline (oops) so i think it’s best if i do that a little later on.

i’m sorry it took me so long to respond!! and again tysm!!! you’re really helping me with keeping motivated, i hope you’re having a wonderful day/night!!!
