mrw I had to think of a professional way to tell my mangers they're fucking cooked if they think I'm spending my first friday back doing a 10 hour shift
#i like the word cooked#its been my favourite word for the past few weeks#but anyway yeah i told them I'd be getting back monday (meaning i arrive home) and they rostered me on for the full week starting then#all 5 and 8 hour shifts alternating between starting early and finishing late#and then i clarified i wouldn't be available until after tuesday so they removed the monday shift#then sent me a text yesterday with a new set of shifts from monday to friday including a 10 hour shift#i feel like they're daring me to quit at this point#they know im applying for nursing jobs soon so they're either trying to milk me for all im worth or make me quit sooner#im just pissed because aside from the managers no one does more than 8 hours but im frequently asked to stay back or rostered on for 9#10 hours is just too fucking cheeky like this is retail my guy i quit my last job because the 10 and 11 hour shifts were making me suicidal#dont fucking try me#personal
