Jingliu’s trailer… has utterly changed my life, it’s going up there with Blade’s and Kafka’s for my top favorite trailers OH MY GODDD

The music, like oh my god can we talk about the music? So sober yet cold and harsh, expressing such intense loneliness and strength in one. That is one of the character themes that is 100% going to stick with me, because UGH it just sounds so beautiful and it manages to set the mood for Jingliu and her trailer so well, but at the same time, it’s not too loud or too powerful as to overwhelm from Jingliu and her bits of dialogue

Also the visuals, perfection, deserves a chefs kiss, the dark landscape only illuminated by the silver moonlight again works perfectly for the mood they wish to set with Jingliu, and that darkness against the vibrancy of the ice she creates is just so so cool, I love it so much. Also I don’t know if I can’t see shit and if I’m mistaking it, but in the latter half of her trailer?? The? Ice figures?? Of the HCQ?? Am I seeing that right, because if I am I will burst into tears
