omg i forgot about priestking jory my most favourite postcanon au of all time
#what little justification i have is as follows:#1. the interaction b/w religion and education in skuldenore currently means that any modern version of an ancient wiseman is#probably going to be some sort of religious/priestly figure or at least get his start there. 2. i like making jory-plato jokes bc well. he#did have shoulders like these lol (that post that's like well it's possible 'plato' (not his birthname) was pulled from his wrestling name#/from his shoulders (bc allegedly he had broad shoulders) is relevant here).#3. jory is supposed to be the next recruit for the queen's guard (like froi) and i think it would be funny if the priestking nicked him too#(like froi). 4. i think he would do a good job some twenty years in the future. and he would be really really funny with it
