But i can share some notes for now
Additional note: their breed name comes from the shape of their tail featuring a leaf-shaped blade resembling the spear used by soldiers during the early Roman Republic
Also their classification of heavyweight is based on Roman era standards and for a good portion of the early middle ages when dragons were smaller. In the modern era (at the time of Skies over Jura and canon Temeraire) they're comparable to a large middleweight
Here's some concept art that's already slightly outdated but I haven't managed to draw more yet
#note: I know there's a short story from the Roman era where Mark Anthony was the first to harness a dragon#but 1. I only learned of its existence after we've already invented five Roman era dragon breeds and a lot of lore#and 2. I don't like the concept. and 3. my friend doesn't like Mark Anthony#also gosh Atrocitas#he's my babygirl#he's kind of a bully toward Genevieve tho because for several years he was the biggest dragon in Switzerland#and now that they've got Vivi he's suddenly lost his position of the Biggest Boy and worst of all#some of his crew had to be reassigned to Vivi so she could have a semi-full crew#+ she's getting all this special attention as Switzerland's only heavyweight (even from his own captain) and he's not taking it well#otherwise he's a neat lil guy. and he's best buddies with local old man Salientes#skies over jura#temeraire#anyway#boss makes a dollar I make a dime#I post dragon lore on company time#(please don't fire me I'm posting while on break)#hasta martis#asta di marte

I've been playing a lot of stardew valley and now I REALLY want to draw Blue Lock x Stardew Valley
(I have so many ideas to draw fjekkfjf check tags)
#isagi would 100% be the farmer#Rin and Sae would be like Haley and Emily but Sae absolutely ignores the existence of Rin and Rin hates him over the years#BACHIRA WOULD BE LIKE SAM he'd check to see who moved to Stardew and immediately cling to Isagi because he had no one else to hang out with#Shidow would be Linus. That man is homeless#Nagi would be Sebastian but instead he spends all of year 1 locked in his basement so you cant befriend him#Instead of Joja Mart you'd have Mikage Co#if you buy the membership Reo builds a mansion for himself where the community house is and he moves to Blue Lock Hills#yeah its Blue Lock Hills now not Pelican town#If you get Reo to move in he befriends Nagi and he comes out of his house in year 1 and you can FINALLY befriend him#Later in the Mikage route Reo builds a new community house immediately after he moves in anyway#and even if you dont buy a membership nagi buys one in year 2 and he destroys the comm house#you essentially just start the route later LOL you cant avoid Reo#Kunigami is Alex but he becomes all emo once he fails the university soccer tournament in year 2#Chigiri is the princess who lives where Elliot is and everyone is suspicious hes a mermaid or siren#JFOEKFJ I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS#oh also the mayor is Ego OBVIOUSLY and Anhri is his poor underpaid assistant#blue lock#stardew valley
