STRONG DELUSION -- KJV (King James Version) Bible Verse List KJV Bible verse list compiled by #BillKochman for #BillsBibleBasics. Topic: "Strong Delusion". Visit https://www.billkochman.com/VerseLists/ to see all my lists. "I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not." Isaiah 66:4, KJV ". . . because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" 2 Thessalonians 2:10b-11, KJV "And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good. And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak. So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king. And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD? And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil? And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee. But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee? And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself. And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son; And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace." 1 Kings 22:13-27, KJV Concerning the last group of verses and the account of God's true Prophet, Micaiah, this very same story is likewise found in 2 Chronicles 18:12-26. Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living
Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 18:4(KJV): 4 The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook. Proverbs 18:4(Amp): 4 The words of a (discreet and wise) man's mouth are as deep waters (plenteous and difficult to fathom); and the fountain of skillful and godly Wisdom is as a gushing stream (sparkling, fresh, pure and life-giving).
Thought for the Day
The words of a wise man do not just come from the surface, but rather, out of his very being. Someone with godly wisdom has greater depth than one who is merely intellectual. Out of the godly man's innermost being flows living water, and he can instruct others in the way of life. His words are truly like a "gushing stream whose waters are sparkling, fresh, pure and life-giving." Jesus is the Word that brings life and refreshing to others. We can all be filled with His Holy Spirit. In yielding to Him, we can be His spokesmen through whom He can impart that same life to others. "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified)" (John 7:37-39).
Before the charismatic renewal, there were only a few people in denominational churches who knew about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. God saw the need for this truth to be restored to His church, so He began pouring out His Spirit upon all of His people regardless of their church affiliation. Many received the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:4-8; Acts 2:1-4, 38, 39; Acts 10:44-46) and began "speaking in tongues and praising the Lord."
Peter, addressing the crowd that gathered the first time when the Holy Spirit was poured out, quoted the prophecy of Joel 2:18-32, which foretold that the baptism in the Holy Spirit would be available to all believers in the last days (Acts 2:16-18). The term "last days" refers to the time between Christ's First Advent (His birth) and Second Advent (His return to earth to establish His kingdom). The First Advent has already occurred and He is coming soon to establish His reign. It is obvious that we live in the last days and that the baptism in the Spirit is being poured out today upon all who will receive Him to give them the power to live the overcoming life.
The Lord desires us to enjoy all of His blessings. The baptism of the Spirit should not be a point of contention. Those who have received spiritual gifts must not think less of those who do not know the blessings of Pentecost. Those who have not experienced the baptism in the Spirit must not view those who "speak in tongues" with distaste, especially if they have not sought the Lord regarding this experience. We should not reject something we do not understand. We would have never been saved with this attitude because none of us really understood how salvation worked at the time we received it. We simply repented and received and we were saved. We need to bring new things before God in prayer and prove them against Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:21). If we bring our questions before God with an open heart, asking Him to show us the truth, He will certainly do so. He will not give us a stone if we ask for bread. If we ask Him for the gift of the Holy Spirit, He will not give us something else (Luke 11:11-13).
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for Your wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit. When You baptized me in the Holy Ghost, you gave me a gift of boldness to witness and a desire to pray more. I also appreciate the power the Holy Spirit that enables me to resist sin and temptation. Lord, without You and Your Holy Spirit, I would be overcome by the enemy. With Your Spirit, I am able to resist the devil and cause him to flee. I also appreciate the freedom to worship You by praying in the Spirit. Through Your gift of the Spirit, you have also revealed more of the Bible to me. Lord, fill us all daily with Your love and Your Holy Spirit. Thank you for Your grace and mercy in my life, and the lives of those I pray for. We need You, Lord. Use us as Your servants and help us to be open to receive all You have for us. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure. They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. - Psalm 111:7-10 KJV
If we read carefully throughout the New Testament, we won't find it said that the Commandments don't count anymore. Jesus Christ even says that He has come to fulfill the Law not to do away with it (Matthew 5:17-18) and goes even further in two of them when He says that holding onto anger and having lustful thoughts are sins just like any other (Matthew 5:28, Matthew 15:19-20, Mark 7:20-23, Galatians 5:19-21, Revelation 21:8, Romans 12:2).
When Paul says that we have been freed from the Law, he is referring to the fact that following Jesus Christ and His Law of love means that we can't sin if we are doing the most loving thing we can do. In fact, we are going beyond them by having "the work of our hands" being truth and justice. We want to do the duty God has called us to do and to help the poor and the vulnerable be able to live lives confident of God's love for them. We need to pay attention to the line "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom". This does not mean that we have to be afraid, but that we must recognize that God is God and we are not. We need to be in awe of His might and power, of His majesty. We are not in control of our lives no matter how much we think we are. Once we accept Jesus Christ into our lives and hearts and accept that God is in charge and in control, our hearts are humbled and our lives become simpler. We don't have to carry our burdens alone. There is someone we can go to for help. God is there to guide our steps and help us make decisions. All He asks of us is to seek, love, trust, serve and praise Him, and show our love for Him by sharing the Gospel and loving one another. Is that really so difficult? Jesus Christ the LORD of lords, KING of Kings, the GOD of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17, 1 Timothy 6:15, Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16) - He is the Living, Almighty and Everlasting God (Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8, John 3:16, John 3:36, Jeremiah 10:10). There is no other God besides Him (Isaiah 45:5). We must humble ourselves before Him, turning our backs on false teachers, false gods and idols and our sinful ways. We must turn back to God and recognize who He is and love Him in return for His great love for us. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven (John 3:5, 14:6), the ONLY way to salvation (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9) and He is resurrection and the life (John 11:25-26). As true and born-again Christians, we believe in Him and His Holy Word. We know though our mortal bodies should die, He will raise us up and into new and glorious bodies (The Rapture). We who are truly His and alive at His second coming will never die, and our bodies will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and so shall we ever be with Him in His Kingdom of Heaven forevermore (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). This is one of many promises given to us by God Himself. Thank God for His strength and guidance when we are faced with sin and temptation. Thank Him for His mercy and grace. Through Bible study and prayer, God reveals His wisdom and guides us to see opportunities to grow closer to Him and grow spiritually. He gives us direction to live our lives according to His Holy Word and will. We MUST make God top priority everyday! May we be motivated to spread God's Holy Word and Gospel Truth to all the Earth, knowing that it is the only hope of all those lost in their sins. Let us not hold out a false hope for men to be saved without the Gospel, but instead, strive to do our part to get the Gospel out to a lost and dying world.
Leaning on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit strengthens us and our knowledge and wisdom about God and His Gospel Truth, exposing these imposters. May God help us to seek and lean on Him daily to gain the strength, wisdom and spiritual discernment needed to expose Satan and his imposters who seek to destroy us and God's ultimate Truth. Everyday, we must remember to share Jesus Christ's Gospel Truth with the world and to thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for the grace that He poured out for us on the cross at Calvary. He has freed us from the burdens of sin and from the eternal damnation of Hell. In all we say and do, may all praise, honor and glory always be given to Him and His Kingdom of Heaven.
With renewed minds, hearts and wills, let us serve Him humbly and faithfully out of pure love and grateful rejoicing. May He remind us of His presence and to remain at peace, fully knowing that all will be well because He is always with us. Let us seek Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ today and everyday with all our heart and being, looking for His love, light and will for our lives with each step we take. Let us seek to please Him with our thoughts, words, and deeds and seek to advance His Kingdom of Heaven and His glory with our lives. Let us seek Him from a pure and humble heart, and when we so seek, we believe Him and His promise that we will find. May He help us all to be more sensitive to the teaching ministry of His Holy Word and Spirit, relying on Him and allowing Him to speak to us and guide us every step of our Christian journey.
God gave us the Holy Bible - His living and Holy Word - to let us know of Him and His abiding love and care as well as guide and prepare us for all our lives. May He help us encourage one another as we continue our walk with Him and our duty to Him daily. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for being present for all our new beginnings and all our lives. May He redirect any anxiety we feel as He provides countless opportunities for growth and change. May we humble ourselves before God always, asking Him to forgive our sins and make our hearts and lives anew through His Holy Word and Spirit. May He help us make Him and His Holy Word top priority, so we can grow spiritually and grow in our relationship with Him as we apply it to our daily lives. Thank God that we can focus on Him and everything about Him, for that is what keeps us sane and at peace. May our words and actions always be a reflection of Him and His Holy Word and Spirit and will.
May He help us to always walk in His grace and Holy Spirit, not by our own measure. May He give us the humble humility to know that our freedom and eternal salvation is found only in Him, so that His grace may sustain us, and we may never lose sight of His love and light and mercy. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for calling us to Him and to serve Him. May He equip us to do all that He has called us to do so that as He works through us, He may use us to produce fruit, to reach others, and to encourage all brothers and sisters in Christ. May He work all of these things in us and through us for His Kingdom and His glory. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all His creation, for His miraculous ways and for everything He does and has done for us! Keep the faith and keep moving forward in your walk with Jesus! He loves us and He knows what is best for us. Seek, follow and trust in Him - Always!
Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Word and for sending His Holy Spirit so that we might have His grace, not only to awaken us and transform our hearts in our spiritual rebirth and guarantee our eternity with Him, but to also call upon Him whenever we are in need. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all the reminders of His love and mercy and faithfulness within His Holy Word. He is bigger than any challenge or circumstance in our lives. Knowing this within our minds and our hearts, nothing can deter our faith in Him and His Truth. May we all accept Him and His eternal gift of salvation and ask that He would transform our hearts and lives according to His will and ways. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Spirit who saves, seals and leads us. May we always thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His almighty power and saving grace. For He is our strength, and He alone is able to save us, forgive our sins and gift us eternal salvation and entry into His Kingdom of Heaven.
May we make sure that we give our hearts and lives to God and take time to seek and praise Him and share His Truth with the world daily. May the LORD our God and Father in Heaven help us to stay diligent and obedient and help us to guard our hearts in Him and His Holy Word daily. May He help us to remain faithful and full of excitement to do our duty to Him and for His glorious return and our reunion in Heaven as well as all that awaits us there. May we never forget to thank the LORD our God and our Creator and Father in Heaven for all this and everything He does and has done for us! May we never forget who He is, nor forget who we are in Christ and that God is always with us! What a mighty God we serve! What a Savior this is! What a wonderful LORD, God, Savior and King we have in Jesus Christ! What a loving Father we have found in Almighty God! What a wonderful God we serve! His will be done!
Thanks and glory be to God! Blessed be the name of the LORD! Hallelujah and Amen!

Paul's Ministry
1 For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
3 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
9 For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
11 As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
17 But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.

STRONG DELUSION -- KJV (King James Version) Bible Verse List #Scriptures #BibleStudy #BibleVerses Visit https://www.billkochman.com/VerseLists/ to see more. “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) Praying the right way brings solutions to every need. Prayer is a vital tool given to the children of God to fellowship with the Most High. It is the key that has the answers to all challenges (Luke 18:1). It is a medium through which we fellowship with God and share all our thoughts, strengths, weaknesses, and challenges with Him. Let us not only pray in times of difficulties or troubles—prayer should be part and parcel of our lives. In everything or situation, we must pray. Beloved, we should turn our complaints into prayer, petition, and thanksgiving, and we will have the peace of God to run our lives. Living in an atmosphere of peace will lead to development, progress, joy, and prosperity. Therefore, never cease praying (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Hallelujah! Be Prayerful! Prayer Point: My dear heavenly Father, thank You for instituting prayer for us to fellowship with You. Yes, You are delighted to see Your children pray because You are eager to answer them. Please lead me to turn my complaints and murmurings into prayer so that I can keep celebrating You for my victories in Jesus’ name. Amen! https://www.instagram.com/p/CpcoLdzumf_p-Dwhv7GzKRdDZ_BPj5W4v66mrE0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 - KJV
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Daily Devotionals for May 18, 2024
Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living
Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 16:26-30(KJV): 26 He that laboureth laboureth for himself; his mouth crave it of him. 27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. 28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends. 29 A violent man entices his neighbor, and leadeth him into the way that is not good. 30 He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass. Proverbs 16:26-30(Amp): 26 The appetite of the laborer works for him, for the need of his mouth urges him on. 27 A worthless man devices and digs up mischief, and in his lips there is as a scorching fire. 28 A perverse man sows strife and a whisperer separates close friends. 29 The exceedingly grasping, covetous, and violent man entices his neighbor, leading him into a way that is not good. 30 He who shuts his eyes to devise perverse things, and who compresses his lips (as if in concealment) will bring evil to pass.
Thought for the Day
Verse 26 - One of the principles of life that God established, is the principle that man must work for his food (Genesis 3:19). After the fall of man, all of mankind is subject to laboring to eat. Because some men are lazy and idle, it takes hunger to drive them to work so they can eat. In the New Testament, we find this admonition. "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their bread" (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12).
Verse 27 - Those who dig up evil about others are like a wildfire scorching everything it touches. Our culture is guilty of this sin. Some make a living by finding dirt on people and broadcasting it through all the gossip channels in the media. As Christians, we should not be a part of writing exposés and spreading gossip. Only God knows the real truth. Love does not expose, but covers sin (1 Peter 4:8).
Verse 28 - Through gossip, a perverse man can separate close friends. As Christians, we should not listen to gossip, since that makes us a party to it. If the one that is being talked about is not there to defend himself, it is not a fair conversation. If there is cause for a true accusation, the issue should be taken up with the offender. If he does not repent, two or three witnesses should be brought along and the offender should address the issue again. If he will still not repent, it should be brought before the church, but at no time should a person discuss someone's fault with anyone besides the person at fault (Matthew 18:15-17). To do so is to participate in gossip and slander.
Verses 29-30 - Evil men are not content to sin by themselves; they try to influence others to join them. We need to avoid people like this. We must also resist evil, giving no place to the wicked one. We can do this by keeping our minds on wholesome things (Philippians 4:8) and casting down every imagination that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, thank you that I am well and strong and able to work. I do appreciate the work You have called me to do. Lord, sometimes I do get weary, but help me not to complain. I am most blessed to be Your child, and I thank You for Your abundant blessings in my life. Many lack the blessings I have. I am grateful that I am not hungry, and I do not have bombs going off above my house. Lord, I pray for my brothers and sisters in the world who are experiencing those trials. Protect them and provide for them. I will not complain of my light afflictions when I think of many in the world who do not even have the essentials of a secure home. Lord, use each of us who are Your children to reach out to those who do not have the blessings that we have. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen. From: Steven P. Overcoming Spiritual Warfare with Biblical Wisdom: 7 Steps to Build You
Overcoming Spiritual Warfare with Biblical Wisdom: 7 Steps to Build Your Faith😇🙏❤️ #shorts Put on the Armor of God: Ephesians 6:11-18 instructs us to put on the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray Without Ceasing: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 instructs us to pray continually. When we pray, we are in constant communication with God and able to resist the attacks of the enemy. Renew Your Mind: Romans 12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. This means studying the word of God, meditating on it, and allowing it to shape our thoughts, attitudes, and actions. Submit to God: James 4:7 instructs us to submit to God and resist the devil. When we submit to God, we are in a position of power and able to resist the temptations and attacks of the enemy. Resist the Devil: James 4:7 also instructs us to resist the devil. This means actively opposing the devil and his influence in our lives. We can do this by speaking the word of God, trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit, and relying on the strength that comes from God. Stay in Fellowship with Other Believers: Hebrews 10:24-25 instructs us to consider how to stir up one another to love and good works and to not neglect meeting together. When we stay in fellowship with other believers, we are able to encourage each other, pray for each other, and strengthen each other in the faith. Trust in the Lord: Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding. When we trust in the Lord, we are able to overcome the attacks of the enemy and experience peace and security in our lives. Bibles for study, worship, outreach, reading, journaling, and devotion.
