I told myself I wouldn’t let soc med tell me what to do but Mr. Spin the Wheel clearly isn’t doing their job well.

Glares at that one item on the wheel it keeps landing on. “I will stop being self-conscious of my own writing and will start working on my fic.” Hah! In your dreams.

uhh one or two weeks ago I guess I was so frustrated and couldn't start studying and it was exam day so yep (I cried so hard and for so long that I woke up with big swollen eyes and a splitting headache😭)

Saw someone do this and gave an open tag and I'm bored at work so guess what I'm doing.

1. How many works do you have on AO3? 28

2. Whats your total AO3 word count? 538,006

3. What fandoms do you write for? Currently, Julie and the Phantoms and Bridgerton. In the past I've also written Harry Potter (obligatory fuck JKR), 9-1-1, Teen Wolf, etc.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

don't you know you've got the best of me? - 6,314

5. Do you respond to comments? Unfortunately, not typically. I used to, but I was putting so much effort in to responding and it just took a lot out of me.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Hands down don't you know you've got the best of me?. I strongly believe in HEA and all my fics will have one, however, dykygtbom is more of a bittersweet ending?? It's still a happy ending, but there's a lot of darkness in there as well.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? ... All of them?? As I said, HEA is my thing, and I don't really skimp on them. If you pressed me for an answer, I'd probably say give me something to hold on to, SOLELY because we see some of the happy ending that is simply implied in others. Like, we see the proposal, the wedding, their kids, etc. So probably that one, but like. My other fics don't not have a happy ending.

8. Do you get hate on fics? I've gotten exactly one comment that I'd classify as a "hate" comment, but I've seen people hate on my fics in other places outside of my comments. So like... yes but no?

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I do not! If I want to indicate a sex scene, it will be a fade to black.

10. Do you write crossovers? I do not! It's nothing I'm against and I won't say I'll never write one.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Yes, a few times. Mostly people reposting my fics onto WattPad.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Someone recently asked if they could translate dykygtbom! So in process, I guess?

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Once! life is not a love song we can try I also haven't technically co-written with them, but @willexmagic and @hufflebibin have been involved in a lot of plotting for my more recent Willex fics, like mob au.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship? This question is illegal actually, didn't you know? Top 5 are:

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will? Honestly... it depends? Right now I'd probably say MLB au for Willex. I want to finish that so badly, but I just haven't had the steam for it. There are other Willex fics I'll definitely be finishing—mechanic au, mob au, etc—but MLB au is just so long, so I'll just have to see how it plays out.

16. What are your writing strengths? Texting. /j (No but actually the amount of comments I have gotten in my fics that have complimented the texting/soc med elements that I include is actually really cool.) I'm often told I'm good at characterization and voices!

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I feel like I can really struggle with pacing. Also knowing where to put hands.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? Have you ever read Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter? They sometimes speak different languages in those books, but the internal thoughts translate for you. Not like word for word, but like, say someone asked "What did you do on summer vacation?" the internal monologue would kind of paraphrase that and while you might not know exactly what was said, you're given insight into what is being said. I rarely use different languages, but when I do, that's the technique I use.

19. First fandom you wrote for? The fics no longer exist, but Maximum Ride. Yeah, I've been around the block a few times.

20. Favorite fic you've written? give me something to hold on to. It's my most honest, real, human fic. So much went into that fic and it's the one I'm most proud of.

I would love to see fics break away from the mould of traditional romance novels! I'm not a fan of third act breakups or other unnecessary issues for the sake of plot, and I think there are a lot of ways to write a good story without those elements and would love to see the creativity that comes from exploring alternatives!!

Angst and make-ups that don’t end in sex. I like that there’s other ways to makeup. Also good communication!! As someone who has never been in a relationship, good communication is great for me to like start to understand what a healthy relationship could look like

January 1, 2024: Day 1 of 366

Today marks the first day of a leap year. However, I find it odd to feel ambivalent looking back, thinking that I miss some things I used to do or the way circumstances roll away for the past months and/or year. Dealing with new things is not my best suit, but I got to move forward because things are not gonna be the same again nor am I gonna experience the same ones twice – it’ll always be different one way or the other.

Hoisting the sail, I’m going to map out some resolutions, stemming from the ropes I came unknotting across.

1. I’ll journal more – place the dates and time so that I’ll better remember instances when I read back at the end of the year.

2. Insta less during days off – take my phone off, soc med detox even for just a day when I'm away from work.

3. Eat proper meals at the proper time – stop skipping breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and snacks. HEALTHY snacks.

4. Life doesn’t end at 24, 25, 26 or 30 – I’m not that young anymore nor old. Kinda in the middle. Though I sort of feel like I have to figure everything out as soon as I turn 20, I’m coming to the realization that setting goals should not be a ticking time bomb to pressure myself to be big or be something else at a certain age. I should trust God’s timing more instead.

5. Smile more – while my everyday requires moving at a fast pace, it’s best to schedule a minute to slow down, laugh, and smile widely.

6. More time with family – I'm busy but my grandparents are getting older as well. Be on the loop of their meds and check ups. It’s not that hard, but if it becomes overwhelming, ask for help.

7. Ask for help - there’s nothing to be ashamed of seeking for one. Of course I gotta be on top of everything, be responsible and accountable.

8. Write well – poetries, prose, and blog. I’ve still got a lot of rough edges to polish. Writing should be more than just a habit, it’ll be best to improve with it as a part of my work.

9. Don’t kneecap words – I should be more straightforward. Gentle, firm, yet kind. When I need to say something. Speak up. Step forward.

10. Focus and prioritize God – my first strength should be with Him. Praying and reading the Word. My day should also end with Him. No matter how busy, happy, or sad I am.

11. Never cease to pray for something – God is never unjust to forget my hard work and prayers. All His promises are “yes and amen.” If things seem different than what I’ve been asking for, I have to remember that He knows my heart best.

12. Actions are not necessarily louder than words – the two should be intertwined as to prevent misinterpretation.

13. Never assume – remove presumptions (good or bad). As mentioned, words should accompany actions.Unless there is a clear confirmation, I should take any action as is.

14. Dream BIG – aim to follow God’s calling. Pray for it eagerly. Skillfully and joyfully obey.

15. Take lots of photos – as they say, “photos are memories in a captured momentum.”

16. Lastly (as of now), be more sensitive – if someone gets interrupted or left out in a conversation, include that person. Be the reason someone gets passionate and empowered about something.

2024’s not gonna be smooth sailing. I’m sure of that, but there will always be joy in it and stuff to learn and grow from. 366 days to row ahead!

Theme: Natural Born Killers

The Loomis brothers looked like the average Normie family.

The eldest, Billy, loved movies and hoped to attend NYU and study film.

The middle, Ajax, had a bit of a wild streak. He preferred to chill with his friends and smoke pot.

The youngest, Ethan, had a cherub face and curls to match. Anyone looking at him would have thought butter couldn’t melt in his mouth.

What no one knew, was that they were proficient serial killers.

Their father didn’t know what to do. Every time a town’s body count got too high, he would move them in hopes of starting fresh. He thought the first few times, they had been lucky, and he had cleaned up well enough after his sons that no one was the wiser. After the third town and his own exhaustion, he found that regardless of what he did, no one seemed to connect the murders to his sons.

Even when they had killed right in front of people. Even the police went on as if they had seen nothing as the brothers stood over a body, bloody knives right in their hands and their faces covered with a ghostly mask.

“Why? Why are you doing this?” he finally asked, there was nowhere else to run, and he had tried therapists and everything else he could think of to curb their bloodthirst.

“To feed the Wall,” Billy spoke for his brothers.

To Mr. Looms’ horror, they showed him the basement…which their newest house didn’t have when they first moved in, and the stairs when down for what seemed forever. They finally came to a stark white room with nothing in it but a surgical table and a freshly dead body.

Their latest victim bled out and had filled several buckets.

Ajax took a brush and painted the Wall crimson. The white Wall pulsated at the offering and soon the fresh ruby blood had been absorbed and returned to a pristine white.

Mr. Loomis rushed upstairs and emptied his stomach on the front lawn. His sons stood around him, their eyes dark but begging him to understand and still love them.

He would always protect his sons.

He made a call to Nevermore Academy; it was the only place he could think of that could possibly give them answers.

The very next day, a tall, beautiful, statuesque woman who introduced herself as Principal Larissa Weems had come to their home with a mismatched married couple, introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Addams. The wife was almost as tall as the blonde, in a tight black dress that made Mr. Loomis wonder how she could breathe. The husband was a short stocky fellow with slicked back hair in a gaudy blue silk pinstriped suit.

All three were totally unperturbed by the Wall or that each of his sons had a body count in the double digits.

Mrs. Addams spoke softly to the Wall, as if it were a child needing to be soothed.

“Oh, you’re just a baby,” she smiled as she touched the Wall, which seemed to react to her presence.

His sons were fascinated at the gentle hand, and the Wall seemed to purr.

“Spontaneous First Generation Outcast,” Larissa told them over tea. “It’s rare these days, but each Outcast line had to start somewhere. Someone had to be the first Werewolf, Vampire, etc…”

“In 1525, Vigo the Carpathian was the first Addams, and from him borne necromancers and mediums,” Mr. Addams explained.

“So, what are my sons?”

“The Entity Beyond the Wall,” Morticia explained, “called them Waste Locks. They are a foci for the negative energy by product produced by Normies. Given the state of the Normie world, I’m not surprised they begot a newborn Eldritch Horror from the Void. Your sons are balancers of Existence. If they stop feeding the Wall…well, we’d see that adorable little Horror on this side of reality.”

Mr. and Mrs. Addams giggled as if the monster ending Existence as they knew it was some cute action of a toddler.

“You’ll love Nevermore,” Mr. Addams told the Loomis brothers, as obviously there was nowhere else for them to go. “It’s like no other boarding school. It’s a dark, magical place. It’s where I met Morticia,” and he turned to his wife with an adoring gaze, “and we fell in love.”

Ajax was excited about the prospect; he had worried his unique urges would doom him to a lonely life where all he would have were his brothers.

The Wall followed them to Nevermore as it had to each new house when they moved, they each had followed their instincts to a door that Weems said had not been there before, and just like with every house, the stairs went down for miles and there was the same stark white room.

Their student guide was a cheerful blonde who had red eyes and wolf ears protruding from the top of her head. She had a wide wicked smile and her canines just a tad too long.

“Welcome to Nevermore,” her red eyes roamed up and down Ajax, as if she wanted to devour him.

He would welcome her to do so as he smiled back.

She showed them around and explained all the Outcasts who had the same desire for blood and flesh, as they had.

The Werewolves feasted on human hearts and livers.

The Sirens sang a song that led men to their doom to feast on their bodies.

Vampires craved blood.

“And that there is our resident torture artist,” she pointed to a tall blond who was painting a raven mural across the quad.

“Don’t you mean, ‘tortured artist?’” Ethan asked as he was certain that was the usual saying.

“No,” she gave a humored smile. “That’s Xavier Thorpe, he and Wednesday Addams are the only ones here to kill for sport and play with their victims. They help feed the Wolves and Vamps who aren’t as adept at killing so they don’t waste the blood or bodies, but otherwise they don’t have to kill, they just like doing it. Do watch out,” she warned, “both are particularly territorial and jealous of each other. They’ve killed other students who got too handsy.”

Wednesday Addams, who inherited her mother’s beauty and her father’s ardor, had walked up to Xavier and pulled him down for a passionate kiss. As their hands roamed each other’s bodies, it seemed to be a normal occurrence as students and teachers alike simply walked past them.

In any other school, they would have been given detention for the public display, but it seemed in a school filled with killers, no one would bother to chide them.

The Loomis brothers had found their place in Nevermore, and each killed to their hearts’ content.

Billy found a fellow cinephile in a Normie who attended Jericho High, Stu Macher. He expressly forbade anyone from killing him.

Ethan had joined the theatre club and was the least bloodthirsty Loomis brother. He was more content to help his brothers find and clean up after their victims rather than kill.

Ajax found himself enamored with Enid and had asked her out on a date. They picnicked under a crescent moon, and he had carved out a heart and liver for her himself.

He also found a kindred spirit in Xavier, who found a thrill in the kill and wasn’t afraid to get absolutely covered in blood.

The Wall was just as enamored with Wednesday as it was with her mother. The Loomis brothers had caught Xavier and Wednesday several times making love in the blood of their victims and painting their own unique “art” on the Wall.

The four friends and Billy kept the Wall generously fed and quickly became known as Nevermore’s most prodigious killers.

4. I wrote a small quote on ig with an aesthetic background of "room full of people, but he's the view", logged out when I see friends updating love life

5. Found this : googled my name and soft aestheric clothes, room and stuffed animals

6. Emptied the rice cooker and ate 2 eggs. Before I emptied the sink.

7. Watched Healer, 3 episodes in. Wondering why my life is so dull.

8. Switched to a new phone last year, didnt leave the house bc of covid, no new pictures or vids. Only BTS and I get envy bc they are millionaires now, how we started as nothing in 2013, they are up there and I'm down here.

9. Had to leave the house to get stationaries for uni that begins monday, have a terrible feeling I might meet someone I dont want to, dreads it.

10. My bro is still awake doing assignments and his rooms smells like death, so I rather not.
