Steam that once clouded the mirror is slowly dissipating, leaving it half covered with water vapor and half clear, shining, brilliant. Warm water drips from the shower head that was just recently turned off, a quiet plop plop plop plop hits the shower floor every other second. Moonlight streams into the room, fighting away the dark night along with the steady light of two lamps on either side of the bed. A hairbrush cards through damp, brown locks of hair, filling the silence with a whisper of sound.

Osamu Dazai is exhausted. He had been working later and later hours at the Armed Detective Agency due to their sudden burst of media coverage thanks to the weretiger - Atsushi Nakajima. However, this was by far the latest he had ever gotten home and as soon as he stumbled through the door, eyes caked with exhaustion and body folding over due to the late hours, you prepared him a warm shower. At first he protested, saying he needed sleep and cuddles more than a bath. Yet, he could not dissuade you, and the promise of you helping him shower off was too good to miss.

That all leads to now where you are seated on Dazai Osamu’s lap, his head against your chest as you brush through his hair. He had fallen asleep during the process, breathing soft and even, lulled to sleep by the comfort of being cared for and loved by his sweet lover.

A soft smile graces your lips as you look down at him with pure adoration. He looks peaceful for once and Dazai can finally get the rest he deserves in your loving embrace. And of course, the fact that you already emailed the agency that Dazai would have the day off tomorrow would help with that too.

A kiss is pressed against his head as you set the brush down, cradling him against your chest and pampering him with loving touches. Soon you will have to wake him so you can both properly curl up under the fluffy blankets of your bed. So that you can properly cuddle in each others arms and rest far past your usual alarms that rudely awaken you both for the day. But, now is not the time to wake him, instead you enjoy his warmth and restful face and nuzzle your nose into his hair.

A faint whisper occupies the peaceful silence that surrounds you both.

I would like to preface that I think my mutuals could pull just about anyone, BUT, I'm gonna choose one for them (most likely not their selfship, because that's too easy, and I want to be dIfFeReNt). All characters are aged up.
