Bridget was running late for her hair appointment and she knew that. She knew she would be all morning, but ambitious woman she was, she thought that maybe, just maybe if she could finish the cake order that somehow got lost in the mix of her papers as quick as possible along with the others she had to do, but she as time kept ticking away, it was proving that she wouldn't be able to. She has finished with five minutes to spare, but after getting out of her apron and promising her staff she'd be back to help clean after her appointment, the drive from Maple Hills to Downtown took longer and she ran into the salon ten minutes past the time she was supposed to be there. She rushed over to Penelope and took a breath as she realized she was panting. "I'm sorry I'm late. I understand if you can't see me today, but I'm so, so sorry."

the thief was pretty. prettier than any of his wives. she was tough but that didn’t mean she couldn’t easily be domesticated and become one of them. most women did when they saw how much easier life could be under his protection. still, that would be her choice. no one became a wife without consent. even as he thought this, negan realized how ludicrous it sounded just in his head. this woman wasn’t like the others and she wouldn’t give in easily. she was going to give him one hell of a fight and maybe even be the death of him if he wasn’t careful. beautiful and very deadly. 

lucille was held at his side. he didn’t really think he’d need her for this encounter. he didn’t intend to kill or even injure penelope. he had other plans for her. negan wanted her to join them because, in any capacity, she would be a very valuable asset to himself and the rest of the saviors. she'd marry him - which he knew was highly unlikely - or she’d fight for him. “well, shit. you’re a smart one ain’t you?” a trademark grin appeared on his lips as he looked her over. the appreciative gaze showed that the leader was impressed in more ways than one. “that was a hell of a stunt you pulled. and you sure as shit got my attention.” he knew that was her mission without her even having to tell him. why else would anyone do something that stupid? most people feared him enough to want to stay off his radar. and if they didn’t, they wanted to join him or simply have his protection. 

“you’ve got my undivided attention like you were hoping for so make it worth my time.” he waved his men back so they would stand down. negan didn’t feel he’d be needing them for this encounter. “tell me why i shouldn’t kill you for stealing an assload of weapons from me?” there wasn’t a single chance that was happening but pressure would still be applied. it was just part of how he worked.

"Then I suppose I'm good with the times I've done it." Nel laughed, though she felt a twinge of hurt for Nancy. Her husband having left her while she was pregnant. She would've been absolutely heartbroken if she was abandoned like that. But it made her respect for Nancy even greater than it already was. She always had everything held together, a true inspiration. "I think so, unless it's still washing, I don't remember what time I put it in." She turned to give herself some momentum to get up so she could go and check. "Should be done I think." @nancyxthompsons

The same applies for frequently occuring themes should they cause you discomfort. Please note that I greatly enjoy writing angst and do so frequently!

001. this is a very low activity and low-key multi muse blog featuring canon and original characters across various fandoms. 002. I cannot emphasize enough that this is a low activity blog. I work a full-time, writing-intensive job, I stream part-time, I have another blog that I write on and I'm a chronically ill cutie. I won't be around constantly and I won't be writing constantly. this is a hobby first and foremost and is treated as such. all I ask is for patience and understanding, both of which are appreciated.

003. I heavily prioritize plotted interactions/dynamics. “Oh my god, this cannot be happening,” Penelope said, slamming their front door shut once more and going back into the kitchen, “How can we be snowed in?” She asked, “Don’t answer that, I know we’re in Canada and it can snow a lot here but we cannot be snowed in. There’s so much to do today,” They were dropping a big story in two days and she had to be there as the editor-in-chief, “Oh my god, I’m gonna freak out. We need to get out of here. Christian, what am I gonna do?”

She grew a little nervous once she told Nel the news, but it seemed to go over well, just as it did with Julieta, so everything was great. "Thank you." She said before nodding. "It is. And we weren't, actually. We just decided we waned to get married and went down to city hall. Once this one comes, we'll plan a ceremony, but we didn't want to wait that long." "Of course he thinks that." She let out a chuckle, throwing her hair over her shoulder. The sudden news about her having gotten married took her by surprise. She blinked at the woman, looking at her as if she had changed right in front of her eyes. "Wow, oh my God, congratulations!" Some affairs could only be a family affair and while she trusted Lucius a lot, this particular family matter was for the Nott side of the family. After all, grandad Cantankerus was getting on a bit and Cyrus had all but stepped into the role of Head of the House. He had sat on the Wizengamot for years now. His mess had the power to ruin the family if they didn’t take control of the situation but control was quickly slipping away with every day that the Auror Office worked on that case.

Penelope was the easy choice. Not only was it her job but she had always been the closest of Melaina’s cousins, with barely been three weeks between them in age. “Daddy has me at a loss,” she said, sighing into a cup of tea. “There are still Aurors all over us and he just keeps saying they have nothing on him.” She had done everything she could think of but kept coming back to the thought that maybe it would be better if he did get arrested. And then she felt like a terrible daughter committing the gravest sin. “I have no idea what to do, now.”
