When Craig is talking to someone, he will typically copy their body language, a behavior known as "mirroring". If they're sitting down, he'll sit down with them. If they're leaning against something, he'll do the same.

It’s just something he does subconsciously, and it’s a very strong signal that he's a friend who it is safe to feel comfortable around.

most disliked flavor profile (s) : Anything that's like? Too rich or overly sweet. Sticky Toffee Pudding is delicious, and he does like it, but he can only eat a few bites before tapping out.

most disliked dessert : I wouldn't say he dislikes anything in particular, but his least favorite would probably be banoffee pie. He's not the biggest fan of bananas, and it's a bit too sweet for his liking. He also won't eat anything with peanuts, but that's less a matter of taste and more a matter of allergies.

Craig's not a churchgoer, but holidays like Christmas and Easter are the few days of the year where he really doesn't have much of a choice in the matter. As a kid, he used to attend Sunday mass with his family every week. But when he was about thirteen, his dad figured he was old enough to decide for himself whether he still wanted to go. The only stipulation was that certain holidays were still mandatory. But aside from that, if he doesn't have to go, he won't. At this point, he mostly just goes along with it because his dad wants him to. And also because they get to go out for breakfast afterwards.

VOICE

Craig's normal speaking voice, while not especially deep, is somewhat husky and generally pleasing to the ear. Even without the aid of HRT, he can make his voice go pretty deep thanks to his persistent voice training. With a little effort, he can even make himself sound cis-passing, or damn near close enough. Conversely, his voice tends to go higher when he's excited or flustered. In some cases, the pitch of his voice will rise and fall simply depending on how he's feeling. This is one of the best examples of how he sounds when he's just talking, while showcasing his lower and higher range.

CRAIG & LOVE

I've been thinking a lot about Craig and how he navigates romance, and since tomorrow is Valentines Day, I figured this was as good a time as any to talk about it. First and foremost, Craig is demiromantic. This means that he will only develop romantic feelings towards someone once he's already formed an emotional connection with them. This doesn't mean he'll catch feelings for anyone he's close with, just that there's a certain prerequisite that needs to be met before romantic feelings are even possible. This is why he finds the notion of 'love at first sight' so ridiculous. It just doesn't make any sense to him. He's also pansexual, which means he can be attracted to anyone, regardless of their gender. Even if he isn't interested in someone romantically, he can still find them appealing, as well as experience sexual attraction. However, it's rare that he'll act on this unless the other person initiates. He's not completely opposed to hooking up every once in a while, but this isn't his preference. Ultimately, while Craig does desire a romantic relationship, he hates dating. Which sounds like a bit of an oxymoron, but makes sense when you define 'dating' as the trial stage of a romantic relationship, where the people involved evaluate each other's compatibility as partners. He can't stand all the stress and anxiety that comes with courtship, and he'd rather skip over that step if at all possible. When Craig DOES catch feelings for someone, though... Hooo boy. That's worth a post of it's own tbh. So I'll probably make a part 2 to this later.

💗 - How long does it take your muse to fall in love?

Honestly? It depends. Craig is demiromantic, meaning he doesn't develop romantic feelings for someone until he forms a strong platonic bond with them first. This isn't to say he can't be attracted to someone, but as far as romance goes, it might take a while. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to be friends with him (though this would likely end up being the case in most scenarios). But he has to develop an emotional connection first for romance to be possible.

💝 - What's their love language?

His main ones are Quality Time and Words of Affirmation. Personal, one-on-one time is not only important, but essential to him. And he craves encouragement, affirmation, and appreciation (since he doesn't really get a lot of that at home).

💘 - What traits personality-wise are attractive to your muse?

Interestingly, Craig tends to gravitate towards traits that are, if not directly opposite to his own, then certainly of a markedly different type. Where he's softspoken and introverted, he finds himself most attracted to people who are outgoing, confident, and self-assured. He likes someone who can take the lead (not that he can't do so himself, of course. He just prefers to go with the flow).

He'd probably say that love means something different to everyone. And if that sounds like a copout answer, that's because it kind of is. In truth, he really wouldn't know what to say if someone asked him to define love. But to him, love is devotion. It comes in many forms, but each one requires dedication.

🖤 - What's something that will instantly make them dismiss someone as a romantic partner

Craig is willing to overlook a lot when it comes to people he cares about. But there are two things that he will simply never abide by: Cruelty and Betrayal.

He will never support someone who willingly and unremorsefully hurts other people. And he will never, ever forgive someone who betrays his trust. Naturally, infidelity is an instant rule-breaker to him. But any serious violation of his trust will get a prospective partner sent packing.

Due to his health, Craig experiences pretty fragmented sleep. This can be mitigated slightly with sleeping pills, but he doesn't like taking those too much because they give him weird dreams.

Honestly, I think the best way to describe his sleeping patterns would be... Inconsistent. There are some days where he'll be up all night, and others where he'll sleep in until three in the afternoon. Just kinda depends on the day he's had.

I'd say Craig is a pretty casual social media user. He's definitely more of a lurker, and doesn't really post much of anything, but he'll do some mindless scrolling every once in a while. He's not someone who would be constantly glued to his phone or anything, but if he's just standing around with nothing better to do, he'll log on for a bit.

He's pretty neutral on the whole thing, to be honest. He's definitely not one of those people who condemns social media as a whole, and who thinks that anyone who uses it is a mindless zombie or w/e. But he also doesn't put too much stock in it, nor does he believe internet clout to be the end all be all of social status.

I think the most he'd ever actually post on social media would be an occasional photo on his instagram (or respective verse equivalent). His online handle is @craglad. Because Craig means 'craggy' in gaelic, and he is also a lad.

Honestly? It depends.

Craig is a very thoughtful gift-giver, but he's also a very practical one. When he gives someone something, he wants it to be something they'll actually like/use. Which is why, unless he knows the person and their tastes very well, he'll almost never get anyone clothes. Because if they don't like it, they won't wear it. And then what's the point?

However, he's always very appreciative whenever anyone gets him a gift. No matter what it is, he'll be grateful to have even been thought of. And he never throws anything away. Even if he never uses it, he will almost never get rid of something that someone has given him.

He's also very good at giftwrapping. It's one of his many weird little niche talents. Catch him doing cute aesthetic shit like this for no reason.
