     You took to visiting graveyards for the solace and familiar sights of what The Dream had shown you, and your rest there tended to be undisturbed. These were places you found comfort in; and aside from needing moments of respite, you had also discovered instances of wonder...      Today, you were visiting a section of a public park closest to the graveyard, in the midst of a wide ring of oddly twisted trees. A cacophony of small voices came from all around.

     Ravens hopped along the grass and peered at you from the branches, used to your visiting presence and glow, you had made friends with the flock. You moved your wings in friendly greeting, and the general din grew excited as you knelt down. They knew what it meant by now.      You rummage into the paper bag you had brought with you, and tear off sections of bread, tossing them across the grass, and hand-delivering the last few scraps. You shake the bag--and it rattles with the remainder of its contents, proving that there’s still another treat you want to share with them.

     But before that, you need to get up to guide the flock. One particularly friendly raven hops onto your shoulder as you do so, carrying its chunk of bread proudly in its beak. You gently chuckle at the stowaway’s weight, then make it over to the water fountains nearby.      You hit the shorter button with the side of your hip, and the taller button with the side of your hand. Ravens vie for space around the metal dishes, dipping their chunks of bread into the water for easier consumption. The friend on your shoulder hops down to join in eagerly.

     Most of them have their beaks too busy to squawk out an alert for the stranger approaching. A few of the ravens--full, you suppose--hopping this way and that on the ground call out anyway. You turn your neck to look at Sugar, still holding buttons down, and reflexively fan your wings to her the same way in greeting. The ravens quiet back down to continue their snack.

     You recognized her. The angel-like-but-not-quite person who answered you with a sweet smile. She couldn’t be here for trouble--the flock would surely sense that. Feeling a little cautious despite the thought, you slowly move the bag-holding hand behind your back.

Too far. He has let himself stray much too far.  These woods do not serve to spark recognition in him of any kind, unfamiliar to him even when compared with the rest of this world  –  though perhaps that means very little, for only the beaches of Opalaria and the areas surrounding it are the extent of his exploration. Nevertheless, Ashton is quite certain he hasn’t been here before, and he’s unaware of any border he may or may not have crossed in ending up here. A dangerous situation altogether, given the tension between these territories. [ turn back. ] “ I would, if I could figure out where back is. ” In his head space, he hears his dragons sigh in unison. [ you will get yourself killed out here. ] “ Well, if you guys know the way, then show me. ” Silence. Ashton groans in frustration. Figures. Totally unhelpful, these two. He says little else as he continues to walk through the brush, quiet save for the occasional crunch of sticks beneath shoes. As he comes to a clearing in the forest, the sound of rustling in the leaves jolts him to abrupt awareness. He swings around, brandishing his swords. “ Who’s there?! ”

The calm nature of the forest brought the traveling merchant here, though, he was notably without his backpack.  Surely, this was a personal trip for clarity and reflection.  Tagora had felt the locals would not mind if the bugmorph set up camp to think everything over.

As he sat down, he felt a presence.  An unwavering but familiar smile that haunted him.  He whipped his head around to see Sugar, in the bushes!

“Sugar!!  What are you doing!?  Are you trying to scare me half to death!!??”  After catching his breath, he fell back on the plush grass.  “Do you just like appearing wherever I am?”

7. WHAT DO YOU SLEEP IN  :  comfey shorts and a tshirt, sometimes pajama pants if im too tired to switch into shorts before bed.

22. DO YOU PLAY ANY VIDEO GAMES  : i play mobages like nobody’s business.. ( gbf, dragalia, fgo, enstars, sinoalice... ) console games i do sometimes but not frequently, but you bet i’m gonna get so wrapped up in animal crossing that i will ascend this realm completely.
