GENERAL APPEARANCE 

All about her is an air of strangeness. Claudia is paler than she should be, her skin discolored by her self imposed isolation, and her hair, similar in hue, comes across as lifeless. Her lack of eyebrows, which she shaves, makes it harder for strangers to read her facial expressions. Those who know her personally, however, know that she hardly makes an expression at all, unless in the midst of spiritual ecstasy.  Despite the severity of her appearance, Claudia also possesses an elegance similar to the early Christian martyrs. The strict austerity of her dress and lifestyle only strengthens the impression of her sanctity.

PERSONALITY

A nonconformist with a bottomless well of empathy, there is a kindness in Claudia that is often overlooked for the horrors that surround her. It is her deep sense of love and justice that guides her daggered hand. There is no sacrifice she will not commit for the ones she loves, and for humanity overall. She aches for the world’s suffering and will do anything in her power to bring forth Paradise.

BIO

Claudia was raised in the hands of an extremely abusive father, and was indoctrinated into the Order from an early age. All of her thoughts, pure or otherwise, were met with the insidious pain of a whip. Too young to understand the cruelty of her circumstance, her will bent to the Order’s whims and she quickly became one of their more fervent followers even as a child.  The only bit of kindness she knew came from Alessa Gillespie, an older girl from the same Church, who never raised her voice or called Claudia names. She was a light, a warm candle in the cave, and Claudia would burn herself if only to keep the flame kindled a little longer. To see it burn her world with love. But as Silent Hill awakened and the dream failed, the candle and its flame blew out in a quiet smoke. She was left alone in the nightmare and a town drowned in mist.  Though as the years passed, Claudia never lost hope of seeing Alessa again and awakening the suffering God. As long as she breathed and possessed a body, she could still be kindling for the fires of salvation.
