I still have a few hours before I can get back home, but I have been thinking dreamily of my Felix and thinking of all the poems that make me think of him. There's one I used to put for myself in the evenings when I felt very lonely, and now I think it fits him like a glove, maybe because of his isolation, maybe because he is also half in love with death.

Age: 28

Birthplace: San Sebastian, PR* (varies depending on verse of course!) 

Height: 5’11’’ 

Race, Ethnicity: Bori, Puertorriqueño

Gender: Cis-masc (He/Him) 

Genre: Fantasy, Horror, Scifi, Noir 

ABILITIES: Chosen by a god of wine and mischief, blessed with an inability to die or be imprisoned. Apart from his blessings, Felix is gifted with a preternatural perception, a kind of true-sight that breaks through facades, magical or otherwise. 

SIDE EFFECTS: Felix’s inability to die doesn’t spare him from any kind of pain, he will feel his death in full even if he is always quickly reformed. His true-sight also weighs on his mind, making him especially sensitive to visuals and easily overwhelmed by them. Migraines are very common. While he has some minor control of magic, he's meant to be taken as a fool on strings, the toy of a god who finds a comedic delight in tragedy.

GENERAL APPEARANCE 

Felix is tall, wiry, dark haired, dark eyed, with sharp and pretty features. His tan skin is riddled with scars, most prominently on his neck where a cut forms a crescent at the base of his jaw. The clothes on his body never seem to be his own, and he never appears to be freshly put together, but right out of a long and arduous night. Though no matter what state he’s in, Felix always smells distinctly of vintage wine.  His mannerisms/motions/body language are often akin to a marionette or a doll. It's common to find him sitting perfectly motionless in some darkened corner, like a toy waiting to be played with.

PERSONALITY

Ornery, callous and ungovernable, Felix’s personality leaves a lot to be desired. He isn’t charming by any means, in fact, the less anyone tries to speak with him the better. Felix is the kind of man who truly values his "privacy" (feeling crowded by the company of his precious shadow, the god that pulls him like a puppet on its strings), preferring to hermit in the wilds or in the ruins of some long abandoned home. If you seek him out he will not make you a welcomed guest, but treat you as a pest coming to defile his lair.  But as intelligent and tricky as he is, Felix’s favor can be easily bought. There are some needs he can’t satisfy on his own and he can be persuaded to do just about anything if offered some form of satisfaction. (Or if his shadow finds the proposition amusing enough.)

BIO

Felix was merely one of the many sacrifices made to his god on the night of the harvest festival. He remembered lying on the stone slab with the stars and moon overhead, just as he remembered the chill of his blood pouring out of his neck. He remembered the music, the singing, and the smell of food being served around his body. He remembered the darkness creeping at the edges of his sight, pulling him into a cool and refreshing embrace.  Until he felt his eyes opening without opening, his body moving without moving, reaching in the shadows where there should have been nothing, but catching purchase on scolding hot skin. There was a face right against his, breathing into his mouth and filling his dead lungs with air. Then there were sights and sounds again, and a kind of electricity jolting his limbs upright. He gasped and gurgled, struggling with the pooled blood in his throat, while all around him the people panicked...
