started out "painterly" (traces can be seen in the face), added light linearting, then did some Digital Art Bullshit Experiment on the eyes, swapped shoulders colour to Fuck It She's Wearing Her Little Cardigan, then decided to add colour to the lips and on the third attempt they even looked like lips so we went from there

yes the hair is Flat Colour Cloud because I realised that it would only look weird if I tried to shade it, and it also somehow works (and thou shalt not try to fix something that presently worketh!)
