Spoilers for Gotham Knights video game, but it is so funny to me that after The Gang finds out about the Court of Owls and their horde of ninja zombies literally coming out of the walls of Gotham, Tim's immediate reaction is, "Yeah, no we should probably start killing."

And Barbara is like, "Tim! I can't believe this, one little setback, and you resort to murder!"

Y'know, the one little setback being there's a secret cult of the wealthy elite who have been running Gotham for centuries, and they've got literally thousands of undead ninja zombies ready to go at a moment's notice. Oh, and they're at war with the League of Assassins, so there's that.

And Dick jumps in like, "No, no, let's hear him out..." because fuck all of this. Fuck this, fuck that, fuck everything.

It's slightly more nuanced than that, and of course, Alfred steps in and gets them back on track. But the vibe of unhinged comic!Tim, who will absolutely fuck your shit up if you back him into a tight enough corner, is there and thriving, and I love it.

Meanwhile, Dick is on his third, "I'm fine! Totally fine..." nervous mental breakdown of the week, trying to smile and be bouncy-happy for everyone else but also contemplating the merits of calling in a favor from Deathstroke because, oh my godddd, there are ninja zombies dressed like owls coming out of the walls.

Like, c'mon Slade. You like fighting people dressed up like birds. It'll be fun...

He'll wear the orange and black uniform that's called "Tribute Slade" in the crafting menu...

honestly, every mention ive made of Gelato in the past month or so has just been through the tags of some posts ive reblogged on here, it's only been until now that ive gotten around to showing him off!

this is Gelato, a Flamingo/Secretarybird mix that my friend @meetthehelper put together!

for a while, i've been wanting to figure out a bird fursona for myself, and i wanted one that had a similar silhouette to that of Scratch (i.e. Scratch & Grounder), and the bird that seemed to make the most sense to me was a flamingo. it was Helper's idea to mix him with another bird species, and i really like what she ended up with :)!

#ask #catboygirljoker #Gelato #my characters #his name is Gelato specifically because of Mario Sunshine. i wanted a name that translated from a different language #and i was saying this to a friend and they were just like ''name him Gelato'' and so i did :)#i think it fits given Gelato Beach is a pink sand beach. and the surf boards that appear on the beach (ill get into that in a second)#my lore for him atm is very barebones. besides his main hobby being surfing. and him living at friends places... couch surfer... etc. etc.#basically my friends bird's main hobby is skating. like jet set radio. and so i wanted something similar for my dude #the reason i chose surfing was to tie it in with him being a flamingo. his name being based off a beach from mario. and sims 2 on xbox #specifically sims 2 on xbox because of the surfing simulation object that appears on the second location of the story mode.#it's kinda stuck with me. probably because i couldn't ever get past the second location as a kid.#anyway. to continue. in the sketch he's wearing arm warmers. which he wears for emotional support.#primarily due to my hyperfixation with Zarbon and how much i think about arm warmers as a concept.#idk i think about what'd happen if i wore some and i feel like my brain would turn off #and so that kinda escalated into me applying that kind of attachment to Gelato #i imagine his voice being a deepish regal and flamboyant surfer voice. like think Zarbon's voice mixed with Bill (& Ted)'s #ive not heard such a voice combo. but for him im pretending it exists. it's allowed.#truthfully i wasn't sure how interested folks would be about him. probably cause i only talk about him in the tags.#anyway!!! thank you for asking about Gelato!!! ive been wanting to talk about him but havent found the right opportunity

Soooo I accidentally went ahead and made a bunch of fanart for "oh, you're my best friend," by @cottonmouthcandy ? It was supposed be be just Bonnie, but then Shanklin just appeared out of nowhere, which, good for him.

Anyway, give the fic a read! It's a very lovely Gravity Falls Pokemon AU with great writing!

I wanted them to be somewhat unique #but not be too different from the normal Pokemon designs. So these are not entirely finalized in my mind yet #For Bonnie; she wasn't always Stan's but I still wanted to incorporate his themes into her design so I made her tail resemble flames?#Since fire symbolism is a big part of Stan's character. I also made her “hair” have waves to both distinguish her a bit but also to #bring in a subtle ocean connection. It's not very obvious but that's fine. She'll probably also change a bit in Stan's care as life goes on #My one regret is that she doesn't look ominous enough in these pictures. I need to make her a little bit more Creature.#And For the twin pokemon oh boy..#Since they are the twins' childhood pokemon I think they'd normally probably have like. Accesories and stuff. I just didn't draw any here.#I gave Shanklin sharper than usual teeth and a head lighter than his body as sort of a nod to his possum counterpart #Though it's not that obvious with the shading. Also not obvious is a lot of tiny scars from scraps he'd gotten in over the years #Frilliam in the corner looks so basic I'm sorry Frilliam. In my defense that sketch wasn't supposed to actually be finalized #Huh. What'd you say? “The gem in Frilliam's shell kinda looks like a singular eye”? See I have absolutely no idea what you are talking abou #Also Slowkings have a warmer color palette in the Pokedex than Slowbros and I decided to commit to that because like #Stan is usually associated with red and warm colors whereas Ford is usually associated with blue and cool colors.#So their Pokemons being the opposite of that sounded cool #Also kinda unrelated kinda not I listened to so much mitski while drawing these it's insane.
