Small Art Session featuring Doey.
Below is a musing in regards to the drawings of him looking all unsteady.
I'd imagine him trying to "center his core" when it comes to forming and grounding himself to stand on his own two feet.
If he is blinded by his overwhelming emotions for a long while, depending on their intensity and the drive to let them out, he will sometimes resort to a "goo-ish" form, (a breakdown, if you will) most likely from focusing more on the emotions, thus leaning more towards that rather than getting a hold of himself, his body, to be more grounded.
The struggle to check on himself whilst maintaining his signature "leader" character is something I'm considering to explore more of as well. He is expressive and it shows in more ways than one. Exploring how he would express himself and the struggles he would have to face whilst he's at it opens more about what Doey must've practiced in his early days.
(Matthew, Kevin, and Jack trying to practice and balance out a body not of their own and Doey having consciences embedded in all his years alive, practicing control, making adjustments, building understanding, and resolving hindrances would be some of the things all of them would have to tend to.)
In Doey’s early moments in the factory, I would imagine him being a clumsy guy, like a baby deer learning how to walk for the first time, slipping off of his path trail of clay dough sometimes, perhaps getting “visions” of his stalker form or what he could become that captures his attention, distracting him from doing things that would trigger it once he meets the other orphans, maybe even before that…
