For the troy au, do you still have Ares siding with Troy? Or what side do you have him taking? Because I can imagine Ody's wrath and anger (and more so Penny's) are a huge thing for Ares to support.

Although I sometimes tag it as WP too, Penelope is NOT Ares' champion in this AU. This is because she already has Athena & Hera's support. Try as I might, I just couldn't find a way to fit Ares in too. Plus, all that rage & resolve being pure Penelope without Ares' influence whatsoever hits harder.

So yeah, Ares is still on Troy's side. But he does acknowledge/approve of Ody's wrath & fierce papa wolf protectiveness. If Ares is a dad, Ody's the dog he never wanted but grew somewhat fond of. Make of that what you will.

.....still, I imagine Athena would passive-aggressively flaunt how she has not one, but TWO warriors of the mind now, one of them a Spartan princess no less. Hah. Look at her wonderful pet liars.
