nadja knows very little about her parents other than the fact that they were austrian, living in paris, and that they went to the trouble of travelling as far as england to leave her at the orphanage she lived in until the age of thirteen. most of this information came in the form of a box with a letter from her (presumed) dead mother and a brooch that nadja still keeps to this day. her desire to search for her origins is born that same day, though she barely has any time to make a plan: her home since she could barely walk burns to the ground, and all the children (herself included) are forced to leave - most of them find a forever home, and nadja does as well, in the form of the Dandelion Troupe: a travelling circus group that adopt her into their world, allowing her the pursue her dream of becoming a dancer. she makes her own outfits, a skill she brought from the orphanage, performing in them as she explores the world in hopes of finding a clue to her mother’s whereabouts.  she is homeschooled by her new family until highschool, at which point the troupe decides to pause on their activities to allow nadja to have a more normal experience with her studies. they settle for the following three years in south korea. it’s in her second year of highschool that nadja gets her first boyfriend and gets to experience what it’s like to be in a relationship.  by the time highschool ends, a pop label discovers her through a play performed by her class in which she not only danced, but sang as well, and saying goodbye to her old life, nadja’s future begins. after a rough year of a lot of training for the label on all areas of her life, nadja and the small all girl band she becomes a part of do their first show-case, and for the following two years, everything is perfectly fine. it all comes crushing down when nadja decides that it’s best if the romantic relationship she’s carried on since highschool ends - they barely see each other and while sometimes distance makes the heart grow fonder, in her case, it simply made her realize that what she felt was no longer there. her (ex) boyfriend doesn’t take this well, fearing for what it meant for what little fame he’d garnered from dating a pop star, and he threatens with exposing materials that she does not want to go public. despite this, nadja thinks he’s bluffing and quietly breaks up with him. the following day, pictures of her from highschool that were meant to be private for her boyfriend at the time were released to the public. despite all attempts, it was already too late, and the label decides to cut loose a liability for their reputation - nadja tries everything but in the end, leaves quietly, deciding that being in the limelight was not truly worth it. at the age of 23 she decides to enrol in college, taking online classes until everything dies down before she can physically go without being recognised instantly. her studies are for fashion design with a minor in performing arts - her desire, in the future, is to open her own dance studio and small boutique.

TWISTED WONDERLAND

after a fire at the orphanage she lived in, nadja takes her chances with the travelling circus that takes her in like one of their own - she knows very little about her origins other than the fact that she has magic she is still learning to use. when she finally turns 16, she finds herself leaving behind the circus with a watery goodbye to attend the Royal Sword Academy. it isn’t long until an opportunity presents itself, however, and nadja applefield is selected for a still under development and testing program that wants students to experience life in different settings - and so she becomes an exchange student at Night Raven College, being inserted into their curriculum for an unknown amount of time. upon arrival, she awaits the reveal of which dorm would be taking her in, finding her new home for the foreseeable future at pomefiore.

nadja applefield was adopted at the age of thirteen by a very loving couple of old carnies that were looking for a new member for their family - little did she know that her new life would begin in japan, so far away from the orphanage in europe. other than some trouble adapting to a new language, nadja fully embraces her new home, even growing the desire to go to UA and help save lives. as years go by, nadja’s dream evolves and changes as she begins to understand her quirk a bit better, and by the age of 15 she enrols at UA as a new student for the support course, where she can hopefully put her sewing abilities to good use and help create new hero costumes. now as a second year at UA, nadja knows that she wants to create her own company when she graduates to help heroes find their perfect fit, a mixture of quality, technology and comfortable clothing!

Blue’s verse takes place after an aborted-genocide reset.

 The human has yet to fall again. Day after day, Queen Toriel tries her very best to bring hope to every monster soul. Perhaps, this plan of her might not be entirely convincing but Nova remains as one of the most cheerful ( if not only ) monsters that remain in the underground. One of the few that truly believed in the low but still present posibility of tasting freedom for the first time.

 That hope of a  new chance for the monsters, for his brother to finally smile. Feel the sunshine on his bones, breathe fresh air and see all colors painting a wonderful canvas in the sky with each different time of the day.

 But, tragically, that utopic world of his never happened.

 The day the last needed human fell, it was over for him.

 For everyone.

 Empty eyes which contained deep inside negative emotions, hatered being the core of their soul, stared back at frightened blue pupils thatcould only offer a faint smile despite his soul screaming to run away or fight them, figure frozen to his spot yet trembling ever so lightly. Nova, trying to turn this around, spread wide open his arms, silently praying that this situation could change—it had to change.

 No noises were heard, everyone in Snowdin was gone. Dust spread across Snowdin with the light breeze.

 He was scared, could feel his soul beating painfully against his ribcage.

 Had Papyrus turned to dust? What would happen to Alphys? The Queen herself?

 Could he save this human from themselves?

 Words tripped over each other, leaving his mouth in stutters because mustering courage to speak was difficult. Trying to knock some sense on the human proved to be even a harder task—words full of kindness, of understanding kept coming. Things could change for the better if they only tried!, and on, because they didn’t have to be alone, he could be there for them. A friend, a guide.

 That’s all it took for him to d i e.

 However, their tale didn’t quite end there. Guilt seemed to overwhelm the human and they shook of whatever energy or spirit seemed to possess them from lusting after more death. it all started again: an unknown faith laid upon monsters.

 When the human was about to murder him, Papyrus got in the middle.

 Nova screamed from the top of his metaphorical lungs and fell to his knees in shock, but all he last saw in his brother’s visage consisted on a simple smile that was almost telling him: ‘everything will be alright’. For that brief moment, the younger skeleton pondered on why this was happening to them.

 Why would his older brother do this?

 Did he believe doing this was a way to amend mistakes of the past in which he chose to turn his back on him rather than protecting him?

 Was Papyrus aware of something…he was not?

 Holding his brother’s hoodie close to his chest, ignoring the dust, tears rolled down his cheekbones and all he could hear was the human backing away, running from the crime scene.

 Living with such burden, Nova drastically changed—he believes all human should be individually judged rather than welcomed. To this day, he hunts after those red eyes that only brought pain to his existence and simply ask: why.

 Losing their mother due many neighbours concern and constant police station calls due domestic abuse and being sent to an orphanage for the unknown whereabouts of their biological father—was what made a bad childhood at the start since, soon enough,  a caring yet mysterious man adopted this pair of brothers.

 Having a single father ( whom even carried an important name due being a scientific widely known ) never seemed to be an issue, not one they understood; not even if other kids during primary school bullied him from such.

 ‘Papyrus’, a loving nickname, would mainly warn them without his knowledge but who can blame an overprotective brother after everything they have been through as children?

 Currently, Nova is an hyperactive bookworm teenager with too many ideas to create and few people to catch up with him. From time to time he used to get weird stares for never taking off his gloves but Nova ignores that regulary.

 Somehow, Nova found himself lost in a wonderful yet spacious place known as La tierra de los muertos and, because he clearly didn’t belong there, was inmediatly taken under custody and interrogated.

 Police or those whom had been around since the start of time weren’t able to pinpoint whether he was lying or telling the truth yet, given how specific he was, he was given the benefit of the doubt, a warning, and then set free to wander aimlessly in that place. Nova also didn’t seem to match anyone in existance.

 They are still observing his every action and those who have knowledge are currently reviewing ancient books that could possibly reveal what the underground was.

ᴍᴏɴsᴛᴇʀ ᴘʀᴏᴍ.   Reaching the surface automatically meant for an eight-legged monster to grab the youngest ones from the underground and put them inside an institution to learn how to properly behave like surface monsters—although Nova didn’t think authorities actually meant something in that high school, he was still happy upon being given a chance of interacting with monsters he had never seen before.

 Plus, he could finally set stuff on fire without anyone nagging him.

age 5-10: 

by the age of five, kankurō was already showing promise with puppetry. eager to have his son move forward, rasa sought out the expertise of sasori to train his son. within a year, kankurō was on his way to graduating from the academy early. rasa was proud of his son and eager to see how much more he could learn. 

so was sasori. 

in the middle of a cold desert night, sasori acted on plans to leave the village. the true reasons why would be unknown to kankurō until years later. it didn’t take much for kankurō to be lured by his sensei. a promise of a short adventure with lots of puppetry knowledge to gain. they would be back before he knew it. 

once outside of the village, sasori altered kankurō’s mind, sealing his memories of his life before that night away. kankurō would not remember his siblings, his father, his uncle, or his mother. he would not remember much of suna at all. for the remainder of kankurō’s life, he believes that he has always been under the care of sasori. 

as years passed, sasori began to introduce kankurō to the art of human puppetry. traveling along the outskirts of the shinobi countries, sasori and kankurō often passed smaller villages that were caught in the crossfire of shinobi affairs. some towns were emptied. others were filled with bodies. kankurō was always drawn to the children his age. seeing their lifeless forms pulled on his heart in more ways than one. he felt he was missing something. missing someone but there was no life in these bodies for him to connect to.

still, sasori noticed how kankurō continued to linger every time they passed an unfortunate massacre –– how kankurō was looking for something in these children. eventually, sasori suggested kankurō take one of the bodies. whichever one he wanted. he picked the least mutilated one, a girl around his own age. her cause of death seemed to be from her legs being crushed by a falling building, causing her to be stranded as her village continued to be attacked. sasori approved of his choice, seeing that most of her body was still intact, the procedure would be an easy one. later that night they would start transforming her into kankurō girl human puppet. kankurō would call her his “sister”. 

within the next year, kankurō would repeat this process. he would collect a total of four “siblings” but only two he truly became attached to: the first girl he transformed and a boy slightly younger than him. 

age 15: 

sasori gets news of the fourth kazekage passing. being aware of rasa’s unique gold dust technique, he decides to use this as a teaching moment for kankurō. he fetches the body and brings it back to him, refusing to reveal rasa’s true identity as his father. together they manage to transform rasa into kankurō’s first advanced human puppet. 

age 17-18:

kankurō’s master is dead. after the fight for the fifth kazekage’s jinchuuriki, kankurō returned to his master’s lifeless puppet body. sadness consuming him, he took possession of the body, choosing to preserve the only father he has ever known. kankurō now wanders along the outskirts of the shinobi nations, doing his best to keep himself and his “family” out of view. 

extra notes: 

- kankurō suffers from extreme headaches whenever he gets close suna. he now avoids the village if he can.  - kankurō hands are puppet hands. he transformed them when he was 10 - although kankurō does not kill with intent to obtain a human puppet, his collection is still gradually growing.

ᴠᴇʀsᴇ: ʙɴʜᴀ.

In this verse, Reaver is an independent villain. Going by just that, Reaver, he has made an infamous name for himself by being absolutely destructive. His quirk, total control, works in several ways. Most noteably, it’s biggest feature is body control. If one looks at him in the eyes, even for a split second, he is able to take control of them. He cannot control their what they think or their speech, but he can make them move and physically act however he wants. This can be broken by either knocking out the target, or forcing him to use his secondary weapon - as he cannot focus on both that and the weapon at the same time. His secondary weapon, a custom made pistol, contains three different types of bullets-- The first releases a black, engulfing smoke which causes the intended target’s line of sight to greatly decrease in size. This, combined with his speed, can prove to be incredibly difficult to deal with given that his location essentially becomes unknown. The second type of bullet works like his mind control. However, upon impact, it releases a gas that causes the intended target to once again fall under his control; though, this only lasts for thirty seconds. The third bullet is similar to your average bullet hollow point bullet. Upon impact, they will deform and cuase wounds to be much larger than they would be with your basic bullet.

He cannot use total control on mutant types, but he can use the bullets that possess the same effect on them.

He, 100%, prefers to work on his own and doesn’t quite fit in with any faction. He finds heroes to be too moral and predictable, and he finds the league of villains to be too controlling and unpredictable. He’s more motivated by greed than gaining power, so neither side truly interest him. If either gets in his way, he isn’t typically detered from taking them on. Toying with the league of villains, however, has proven to be quite entertaining to him. The biggest threat he poses, however, is to civillians. Every now and then, he’ll go on robbing sprees which included - but are not limited to - killing innocents for their possessions, using police forces to do the robbing for him via his quirk, setting fire to buildings after he’s gone through them, etc. Like in his canon, Reaver is all about enjoying himself while taking as much as he can from whoever he pleases.

A verse in which Izuru remained the dominant persona, but resolves himself to live on as both Izuru Kamukura and Hajime Hinata. He has mellowed out dramatically and begun taking on some of Hajime’s habits and traits. He has decided to remain with the rest of the survivors and help them awaken, as he feels that’s what Hajime wants. Though the two do exist as a singular being, Hajime’s consciousness is faint and somewhat damaged from the simulation. Though he’s considered one of the top members of Ultimate Despair, Kamukura spent much of his time observing the ruined world rather than spreading despair. Unsurprisingly he is stoic and detached more often than not, unless of course something/someone manages to interest him. After surviving abandonment from the committee members–who deemed him ‘too dangerous’–Jin Kirigiri accepted him into the main academy. Kamukura is bitter towards Hope’s Peak, though he’s quite careful not to let it show. He spends much of his time bored with his classmates, as he now recognizes just how superior he is in comparison. Expect him to be rude, blunt, and downright unsociable.

Though it doesn’t show on his face, Kamukura is severely emotional at this point in time. He knows who and what he is upon awakening, however he does not know the full extent of his abilities, let alone where he fits into the world. His only real human contact at this point has been Yasuke Matsuda as well as a few of the other scientists.

Izuru is a Trickster of unknown origin, presumably a demigod or at least descended of one. He’s been around and been bored for so long he earnestly can’t remember anymore. He is capable of shapeshifting, though he was surprised to find a being that shares his natural form: one Hajime Hinata. He has since decided to become a resident of Orsus, freeloading off the half-elf and making himself at home at the other’s house. Izuru has myriad abilities, including—but not limited to—accelerated healing, superhuman strength and speed, immortality, and telepathy. Despite his ability to shapeshift, he always retains his glowing crimson eyes.

A verse in which Izuru remained the dominant persona, but resolves himself to live on as both Izuru Kamukura and Hajime Hinata. He has mellowed out dramatically and begun taking on some of Hajime’s habits and traits.
