so i finally saw endgame. i know, i’m late. i actually thought the story was pretty good, it was lacking in wanda content but that’s neither here no there. i haven’t been here because i didn’t want to be spoiled, but now that i have, i’ll try to be active again !

DIVERGENT  :  WAS NOT SNAPPED

halved her time between working with natasha and hunting with clint. after the destruction that thanos caused, her more feral side came back out and clint’s idea of ridding the world of darkness   (   because why did they get to live   ?   )   called to her. but, she also couldn’t abandon her other family. when natasha, or any avenger needed her, she returned to help without ever giving up clint’s location. 

POST SNAP  :  CANON AND DIVERGENT

after everyone is brought back, she spends as much time at the farm as she can, while also teaming up with sam and bucky with the avengers. whether having lost five years or having spent them fighting, she’s wanting to get to normal. whatever that is. still, she misses her brother. always. she misses the friends she lost.

MENTAL AFFECTS OF THE SNAP  :  DIVERGENT

with the loss of so many minds around her, wanda is catatonic for days. the sudden emptiness of the world takes it’s toll on her. she wakes in the avenger’s compound, finally lucid, but it takes time before she’s able to really get back to missions. she is recovered just enough to go hunt down thanos with the others.

on the other side, the sudden rush of minds after five years without them, while exhilarating, is torturous. she screams, hands clutching her skull, knees buckling. the wind is knocked out of her, unable to draw in breath to tell the one’s around her that it worked. but they already know. she walks around with walls around her mind for weeks before being able to slowly lower them.
