i have since lost the post bc tumblr is tumblr but i saw a post earlier today with someone saying they were confused how gyatso and yama would have been so close if air nomad children are sent to different air temples not long after birth, and i have a very easy explanation: one of them is trans and didn't realize it until their teens 🏳️‍⚧️

#literally was ready to fall asleep then came to this conclusion and welp #talking tag #chronicles of the avatar #the reckoning of roku #i MEAN. idr if it was the roku book or one of the others but they did make a whole point about being able to change temples-#-if they later realize their gender didn't line up with their assigned gender or w/e #so like. i'm just saying 👀
