Arace comes fom AroAce, in-universe is a name like any other

Acacia is because in the beggining she was going to have tree powers. She now just lives in a tree house, and Acacia is a nickname she uses

Fice comes from sacrifice. I just got tired of having to write "the sacrifice" everytime and shortened it

Nestek comes from Neptune. Fish was originally going to be from there. Still reworking where fish is from and the name meaning

Juverlop comes from Jupiter. As Nestek, they were going to be from Jupiter. I'm thinking Juver might mean something and lop be the gender

Coral comes from her hair color.

Blake is called like that becasue I googled what names go well with Sebastian and Blake was one of them

Anidratos (Sebastian's surname) comes from anhydrate, since he comes from a desertic zone

Moonshiner is Cecille's surname becasue she loves alcohol

Derreka comes from Derrek, and she just added the a one day so it sounded more feminine. Lil'boat is because she was found in a little boat when she was a baby

Suspiria is because it's a good snake name

Debbie is Oposta because she is trans. Just realized that I don't know how that surname would work for the rest of her family

Curls is because of her curly hair

Balrik comes from bald and barril (barrel in spanish)

Pete and Dave are because they are sinple basic names. Pete wouldn't accept Dave's weird suggestions

Crescent comes from his tail shaped as a moon

Chicken was named like that becasue he came from an egg. And naming a dino chicken is fun

Aric and Cira are becasue I wanted to keep the same letters for both her names

Robles is because the family has a relation with nature magic

Dansel and Price are misspellings. They just stuck for some reason

Twiga means giraffe

Octalia comes from octopus

Mister Noodles just likes caos, same reason why its snake is called George.

Krystal is cause she looks like a blue gem

Nuclear Waste is the color of cartoony radiactive waste

Why is your OC named what they're named? Is there a different reason in-universe than out-of-universe?

Vanda's Diary - January 2025 - Entry 13

Dear Diary,

Today was pretty scary. I was in a really pretty spaceship, exploring and looking at all the beautiful decorations. It was a bit weird that no one was around, but I didn’t really notice, I was too distracted admiring everything. I don’t know how long I had been wandering around when I heard blasters shooting. I didn’t even have enough time to process what I had heard when I was suddenly joinked from the ground.

“RUN!” someone growled behind me and whoever had picked me up while running. I looked back. It was a… shark? They looked like a shark at least. Looking up to whoever was carrying me I shivered. I’m not a fan of bugs. And that was a really huge bug. Both of them looked like they wanted to get out of of this spaceship as fast as they could. And then I heard why. I will never forget that shriek.

When we were safe in their ship, and a respectful distance from the pretty spaceship I asked what was going on. And what was that shriek coming from.

“I have no f***ing idea,” said the tall bug, named Juverlop as I learned later.

“And I absolutely don’t want to know,” grunted Nestek, the one who looked like a shark.

I also think I don’t want to ever know what was in that ship.

Juverlop and Nestek were really nice. They told me stories of their adventures while we travelled to the nearest space station. I had a great time hearing them bicker when telling them, and it helped me calm down. They left me in the space station and left after saying goodbye and telling me to be more careful when exploring. It was a really eventful day.
