i love to play toys (think abt inane alternate timelines with mine ocs)
#situation in which cassius transitions further on into his life and ends up in a lavender marriage w jakov. jakovs got a place to go when--#--his dad dies and it isnt Just cassius+drahomír in the house when the beholder wakes up. far less of a slow spiral into possession+lies--#--and more their friendship falling apart bc of jakovs constant insistence that cassius do ANYTHING but fall into barenvilles own--#--relationship with the bug. either jakov goes down to the basement one night to yell at the beholder+gets eaten or after a couple years--#--he finally burns the entire house down w only rhe beholder in it (an excessive suspicion+fear of the eldritch rooted in his fathers own--#--superstitions)#other would be if fyokla was born a couple decades earlier and ended up conducting for the same orchestra chester works with. bit of--#--an ayalan double feature LOL
