sometimes it be like unstoppable force (my hate for capitalism and specifically everything that has to do with advertising) vs immovable object (my love for asian dramas and realizing that actors need to promote stuff because that's how they survive)

Ugh right, like the product placements are so cringey but what really kills me personally is how many of them rely on colorism and beauty bullshit, like it's so weird as a brown person to see that being pushed so harshly and like what I can actually say about it since it's not our industry, that battle belongs to them and them alone but still, it really is sth else watching the shows and being able to see how much the marketing and the sponsors have a say in it.
