IT'S JUST THE TWO OF THEM , arthur sits quietly reading in a chair across the room while she sits on the couch with jynx , running her fingers through the cats long white fur until she decides to BREAK THE SILENCE , crossing the room before she gently takes the book from his hands , placing it on the table beside them as she climbs up into his LAP , gently wiggling & shifting until she gets comfortable.

“ is this seat taken ? “ her smile is innocent , sweet , PLAYFUL as she giggles under her breath , arms wrapping around his neck as fingers comb gently through short brown locks.

“  I-I DIDN'T KNOW Y-YOU WERE PAYING ATTENTION...” it's an honest statement. as she sat , curled COMFORTABLY in one of the reading chair in arthur's bookshop , susie was COMPLETELY unaware he had been paying any mind to her sketching him whilst he put books away-- BUT , it seems he had. not only that , but arthur had walked over and snuck a LOOK at the drawing too.

her cheeks MUCH match the shade of her hair as he looks it over , hearing the tiny GASP that leaves him is enough to make the poor girl’s heart LEAP into her throat as she waited to hear what he would say about it. “  i-i’m sorry i-if it’s not t-that great... i-i’m not anyth-thing special A-ANYWAYS. “ she’s a stammering mess , hands nervously clenching the end of her tank top as she sit’s up to look up at him from her seat.
