i keep coming back to the fact that when Louis found Lestat in NOLA, he apparently was already planning the tour. we dont know how much time had passed between Louis leaving Dubai and him finding Lestat and we ALSO dont entirely know the timeline of Daniel writing and publishing the book, but i do think we need to consider the possibility of Lestat going on tour NOT as a reaction to the book but him just veing random lmao.
