the kids of the cul-de-sac may have grown up and moved out of their childhood homes, but their connections to each other remained, and it was inevitable that their children would grow up together as childhood friends.

jude hills, ed’s son, was the first of the ‘ed children’ to be born. eddy’s sons, flynn sampson and pax sampson, were next. eddy was initially concerned that his sons would have the same relationship he and his own brother had, but he was reassured that wouldn’t be the case. celeste vincent was the last edition, adopted by edd when her parents passed away in the hospital he worked at and she had no other relatives who could take her in.

jude has three cousins via his aunt sarah: olivia hills, miller hills, and gia hills. all three are different, but undeniably sarah’s children with the striking red hair. with their single mother working quite a bit, they spend a lot of time at their uncle ed’s.

davie von bartonschmeer and polly von bartonschmeer are also adopted, raised by nazz and marie. they spent a lot of their childhood running around with roxanna barr, kevin’s daughter, as they lived right around the corner. levi groves, jonny’s son, completes the list of children of the original cul-de-sac kids, rarely spending his time with anyone else.

davie and polly have cousins of their own. may kanker has only one child, helena kanker, though lee is a different story. she has many children running around, but most of the actual child-raising is being left to her eldest, ruby kanker.
