wanted 2 comment on the bg3 situation as well, that even as an astarion fan, I just got profoundly tired of the fact that there's pretty much Only astarion content out there. Like, it was enjoyable for about three months tops. Plus I encountered a weird subset of fans that would insist that criticizing wyll's storyline for being badly written (or barely there at all) was racist? Which, you'd think would be the opposite, I would have loved more content (or a return to early access wyll which I heard was more complex)

I know what being catered to feels like (Solas Fan🏅) but I want everyone to have full plates of content*

To your second point: there are fans who say 'this is ass wow someone should fix this' and there are fans who say 'this is ass oh well get over it' lol a missing sentence can make it come off as really diminishing

Something like that happened to me actually — I think it was the post yapping about fandom needing better boundaries with creators, which was taken as hating on Wyll fans

Its a touchy subject but as long as you're clear & open to 'hey what did you mean by this' messages it usually works out; not always but usually 😅
