Funny how grief works (not at all). I'm on my way to the cinema to see a special showcase on 100 years of Portuguese animation and am just scrolling through facebook on the commute there. I see a notification that says I have a memory from 4 years ago today. It is of my dad, his brother and I. My uncle passed away mid last year after a long difficult time. Turns out it was just from a tag he did 4 years ago of us but it still felt like a sucker punch to the gut... hmm. I wasn't expecting that...
