I got my wisdom teeth out today and was wondering if you had any headcanons about what billy would be like caring for someone after surgery? I know they didn’t have medical technology back then like they do now but…. I was just curious if you had any thoughts about soft caring billy. thank you for your writing on here, it’s so comforting and good! 💕

and absolutely yes, billy would be so sweet and patient with you. he would literally give up his whole day, week, month; however long it takes to get you back on your feet.

“anything you need, darlin’, you just let me know. i ain’t lettin’ you lift a finger,” he’d tell you, plopping himself down right beside your bed. he doesn’t want you exerting any more energy than absolutely necessary. you need ice for the swelling? he’s on it. you need painkillers? “tip your head back, sweet thing. just like that,” he murmurs while he’s slipping a spoonful of the sticky syrup in your mouth. he coos softly, brushing your hair out of your face because he knows it tastes awful.

billy would be right there for you, helping you with anything and everything you need. he just wants his baby to get better :( he hates seeing you in pain or not feeling your best. he’d be so gentle too; he’s so careful about crawling into bed with you when you whine that he’s not close enough. he’s gingerly wrapping his arms around you and maneuvering you so that you can cuddle up to his chest, peppering your face with the softest kisses.

“there you go, nice and cozy. gonna take such good care’a you,” he tells you, tucking your blankets around you.

Happy New Years! It's finally the end of year and we all made it y'all!

My activity on this blog has been sporadic at best as I've put my energy into my art these days but I always appreciate y'all every time I get on here and there's always fun shenanigans to be have (and of course admiring all moots from afar because I'm always perceiving :D)! Thanks for sticking with me despite my sporadic butt and I hope to write new stuff with new and old peeps alike ! Also hopefully get out those new OC bios I've been teasing for over a year XD

What’s your favorite voice from DHMIS? There are so many characters and announcers whose voices I just adore! The real standouts (for me personally) have been the announcer for the Security Thing in the Clayhill Pilot, the Briefcase’s voice, the Steak’s voice, Golton’s voice, and the announcer in the Jobs episode that explains how great accidents happening are to Duck Guy. I don’t know how to describe it, but the voices for this series are just so unique in general you know? Heck, Duck Guy’s original voice was literally autotuned to infinity and back again (I assume) just to give it that unique feel!

HAH Aww what a fun question! Well I cannot discount Baker Terry! Not at all! He voices my two favorite baby wo wabys and I cannot IMAGINE what Duck would sound like without him! His delivery on his lines is so perfect and I love how he made his voice softer and higher pitched in the TV show to make up for the lack of autotune. It’s very nice and gentle compared to how he used to do it.

Like honestly, everyone remembers Ducks TV voice much pitchier and louder than it really is imo. there's an odd softness to it I reccomend you all go back and refresh.

NOT of course to discount Joseph Pelling, his work on there is so fun too and I didn’t figure out till LAST year that he voiced both Red Guy AND Colin- nuts to me as they don’t sound anything alike. Becky I really like too because although she is almost immediately recognizable as the characters she voices, it never feels like she’s the wrong pick for the job yknow? Her voicing both Brendon,Electracey and Stain is both odd AND fun- it doesn’t feel like the voice wouldn’t fit the characters. Her immediate recognizability yet variety really reminds me of Kristen Schaal. I think. The main three creators have got to be my faves, as totally cheesy as that is. They’re so multitalented!!
