Ms. Codex 1280 is a ledger of debtors and creditors of the Medici family for the years 1537-1539, written on paper in Italy ca. 1539. The binding is contemporary parchment and leather. The lower cover wraps around upper cover with leather strap, and there is a metal buckle on upper cover and decorative leatherwork on spine.

This beautiful green and yellow coat was almost certainly created for the 1949 film Prince of Foxes, where Wanda Hendrix wore it as Camilla Verano. The costume was later seen in Lucrèce Borgia in 1953 on an extra, and in 1977, Maureen Kerwin wore the ensemble as Lucrèce Borgia in the second episode of Les Borgia ou le sang doré. In 2006, the costume still appeared in beautiful condition in Los Borgia on Maria Valverde as Lucrecia Borgia, and finally, in 2016, it was worn by Annabel Scholey as Contessina de’ Bardi in Medici: Masters of Florence.
This costume has been used for 67 years and is likely still in use, which makes it the longest continual usage of a costume that Recycled Movie Costumes has been able to record.

The "Medici Riccardi Horse Head"
An extraordinary bronze sculpture of the head of a horse, which dates to the second half of the fourth century BC.
During the Renaissance Donatello used this as a model for his works, as did Leonardo da Vinci.  The head was once part of a full statue of a horse, but the body of the horse has been lost to history.
Cast bronze, once guilded.

Sofonisba Anguissola (Italian, ca. 1532-1625) Portrait of a Young Lady, 1580
This excellent portrait is attributed to the Italian painter Sofonisba Anguissola, who settled in Madrid from 1559 to 1573 as lady-in-waiting to Isabel of Valois and court painter for Philip II.
Some authors affirm that the portrayed almost certainly is Leonor de Médici (1567-1611), who was the second wife of Vicente I Gonzaga of Mantua, Duke of Mantua and Montferrato, and daughter of Francisco I de Médici, great duke of Tuscany, and of Juana de Hapsburg-Jagiellón, daughter in turn of the emperor Fernando I of Hapsburg.
