still can't believe there was such a potentially elegant way to bookend the series and the bakugou&midoriya relationship with midoriya asking bakugou if he could still be a hero without a quirk and bakugou saying yes. like i wouldnt even like that personally* but from a narrative perspective it would be soooo neat and tidy. instead midoriya settles** for a career he doesn't want as badly for 8 years until someone gives him a supersuit. c'mon man.
