i spent so long as a lotr hater* that sometimes i forget that i read the books last year and fucking loved them. I'll be like "UGH lord of the rings 🙄 .... WAIT I LOVE LORD OF THE RINGS"

#anime life #*hater is maybe an overstatement. i was more of a lotr resent-er #it didn't appeal to me at all and everyone who liked it was super rude and pushy about it #but now i think about how everyone thinks of frodo as being the strongest and bravest of their number #even though he doesnt really DO anything #other than endure psychic damage the likes of which they cant even comprehend #and i cry!!! i cant help it!!!#my disabled ass sees the fellowship downright REVERING their disabled friend and im so moved!!!
