so... it's pretty much confirmed that the world government has uranus, right??

like, from what we know about the ancient weapons, they're strong enough to take out entire islands, and with what happened to lulusia kingdom...

the anime made it seem like it was imu's powers that took out lulusia kingdom, which was super interesting. we have one ancient weapon that's a literal weapon (the battleship pluton), one that's a being with a specific ability (poseidon, which is princess shirahoshi and her ability to communicate with sea kings), so what if uranus is a devil fruit??

i'm not caught up on the manga but i've heard ✨rumors✨ about it being hinted at [manga spoilers, skip this paragraph if you don't want to be spoiled] that devil fruits are ancient technology from the great kingdom, which is why vegapunk was able to recreate them as smile fruit. and if the great kingdom is also responsible for the creation of the poneglyphs and other ancient weapons, then it doesn't seem like too far of a stretch to say that they designated their most powerful devil fruit as the third ancient weapon.

not to mention, it's already been alluded to that those responsible for the ancient weapons were worried about them falling into the wrong hands. the whole reason cp9 was after franky was for the blueprints to pluton, which had been preserved specifically to combat the existing pluton should the need arise. that very well could have been foreshadowing to uranus being in enemy hands... at the very least, it's proof that the world government is aiming to get control of the ancient weapons.

plus, there was the hole left behind from the attack on lulusia. it looked suspiciously identical to the hole beneath enies lobby-- what if the government is trying to hide the evidence of their possession of a deadly weapon by literally covering it up with a marine stronghold??

anyways, this might possibly be common knowledge in the fandom by now and i might be years late to the party since i just caught up this last week, but thought i would share-- would love to hear thoughts on this!!!
