Why is it always the characters (or alternate versions of characters: i.e. when they were younger, one-off outfit, etc) that have very little official (or even clear since sometimes it's sometimes a character from 2004 so everything is kinda grainy) art that can be used as references for a commission that I get attached to 😔

#*sorrows and misery on planet earth #*i'm tryna do something involving a younger barok but like... theres maybe 3 whole images of him when he was young in an official capacity #*and im talking about like early 20s barok so not the /child/ version of him (which would bring our count up to 4 images)#*the first 2 come from the game but one is like a monochrome photo so ofc you cant tell what color his outfit is and the other is like #*a flashback that i think is taking place at night or something bc everything is so dark #*okay actually it was in an alley but even then. still dark as hell #*i can kinda make out some colors of things but i know this isn't quite what i'm looking for #*barok why couldnt you and genshin have just taken the fight in. not an alley #*middle of the street in full public view so i can see the outfit you had on when you were 20 something #*and finally the last image would be concept art which. is good. but the outfit in it is different from what's in the in game images #*well... the full body is. theres one part on this page that has the waistcoat im looking for but #*mmm i wish there was more for me to work with #*'do it yourself' brother i cant draw (that well)#*believe me i'd love to be the change i wish to see in this world (more images of 20 something year old barok pre-trauma and racism arc)#*sigh...
