vixx was formed through a survival show called mydol in 2012. currently the group is most-known as “concept-dols” (concept + idol), because of their various original, well-planned-out concepts.

vixx’s first sub-unit, vixx lr, debuted in 2015.

in 2014, he was casted in the show hitmaker. because of that, he became a member of the project (?) group big byung under the stage name dolbaegi.

he was cast member in season 2 of the show lipstick prince.

enlisted in the army to do the obligatory military service on march 4, 2019.

how to recognize him: he has quite a small face, eyes with monolids and tan skin. i’d also say cheeks are a prominent feature of his because of his cheekbones.

leo -- jung taekwoon

레오 / 정택운

born: november 11, 1990.

nationality: korean.

official height: 183cm.

position: vocal.

sub-units: vixx lr.

since 2014, he has worked in the musical teather as well. in 2014, he acted in full house (role: lee youngjae), and in 2016-2017 he acted in mata hari (role: armand) and monte cristo (role: albert). his newest project is the last kiss (2017-2018).

released a song with lyn called blossom tears and a song with park sohyun called 그뿐야.

released a self-written solo song dream.

officially debuted as a soloist in july 2018 with album canvas and title song touch & sketch.

how to recognize him: he has a small face, small nose and full lips. he is one of the strongest vocalists of the group.

ken -- lee jaehwan

켄 / 이재환

born: april 4, 1992.

nationality: korean.

official height: 181cm.

position: vocal.

starred in the drama boarding house #24 in 2014. he is to star in a web-drama called tofu personified (2018).

since his debut in the musical chess in 2015, he has done many other musicals. his most recent one was titanic in 2017, where he played frederick barrett.

worked with other artists for song releases: with j’kyun for ponytail, with exid’s hani for gap, with yoon jongshin for over sleep, with ravi for rose.

how to recognize him: he has a thin face, a large nose, full lips and very strong vocals.

ravi -- kim wonsik

라비 / 김원식

born: february 15, 1993.

nationality: korean.

official height: 183cm.

blood type: o.

position: rap, dance.

sub-units: vixx lr.

in 2015, he competed in the show show me the money 4, but was eliminated in round 2.

he’s released mixtapes called r.ebirth (2016), alcohol (2017), nirvana + mv (2018), k1tchen (2018).

in 2017, he officially debuted as a soloist. he has released albums called r.eal1ze (2017) and r.ook book (2019). he has also released a music videos bomb, tuxedo.

released the single adorable featuring highlight’s yoseob.

how to recognize him: in music videos, you will probably find him quite easily because of the often-heard “ravi” before his rap parts. :D as for physical features, he has a long face, small eyes and tan skin.

lee hongbin

이홍빈

born: september 29, 1993.

nationality: korean.

official height: 181cm.

blood type: b.

position: vocal, rap, visual.

how to recognize him: he has quite a small oval face, but, in my opinion, his most distinct features are his wide smile and dimples.

hyuk -- han sanghyuk

혁 / 한상혁

born: july 5, 1995.

nationality: korean.

official height: 184cm.

blood type: o.

position: vocal, dance, maknae.

in 2014, he was casted in the show hitmaker. because of that, he became a member of the project (?) group big byung under the stage name hyuk ddi.

guested on the show law of the jungle in brazil (ep. 112-116).

he debuted as an actor in the 2016 movie catch him to survive. in 2017, he starred in the web-drama romance special law.

how to recognize him: his most distinct feature could be his big nose, and he has quite a prominent jawline and cheekbones. he also has a unique voice and has grown to be possibly even one of the tallest members of the group. :D
