It’s strange that I see so many Enjolras/Grantaire fans criticize the 2012 film for cutting the gay verse of Drink With Me, but I almost never see Valvert fans mourning how they cut the homoerotic valvert reprise of I Dreamed a Dream or the gayest verse of Javert’s Suicide. Sad.
#I’m guessing it’s because the enjolras/Grantaire actors in the film give genuinely strong performances you want to hear more of#but valvert fans generally prefer other performers?#either way.#*I* am upset about the homoerotic valvert reprise of I dreamed a dream#and the gay verse of Javert’s suicide#you’re really cutting two of their most iconic musical moments#anyway
