i just realized that breivarden might be like. the only canon* aro/allo** ship i know of
#* - sure they don't like. define their relationship but look me in the eyes and tell me it isn't canonically *something* by Mercy#** - sure breq never goes “i am aromantic” but says that ships don't desire romantic partners and sticks to that. thats pretty aro to me#actually this has me thinking about how in the Radch orientation really only exists in terms of aspec and allo#which like isnt a revelation or anything its the logical conclusion of not having a social gender#but its still such a foreign concept to me#that its fun to think about#anyway my point was that it being an aro/allo relationship is actually very important to the way it develops#seivarden knowing that there are things that she wants that breq cant give even besides sex. and she never acts like thats wrong of breq.#(its also important that its ace/allo but that is slightly more common to see so im not gonna go into that)#sam reads imperial radch#my posts
