I need the weirdest piece of advice imaginable

So, my school is doing a production of Going Postal this year for the fall production.

I know no one around me who knows anything about Terry Pratchet. You are the person I am closest to who does and I don't think you know I exist. It sucks.

I wanna be Moist. I'm gonna try my ass off to be Moist. I'm scared as hell.

It's also been a while since I actually read the book, and I'm currently working with summer education, and currently do not have the time to do so.

What gives him his spark? What would you like to see him be? How would you like to see him done?

I also just wanna hear your thoughts in general about GP. You have an amazing brain and I look forward to what you do in the future.

Ok first of all that’s like SO COOL. I wish I could be there to see it fr <333

And really what gives him his spark is just,, the thrill of it all. He’d probably give up everything to feel the thrill of barely making it out alive. In making money he basically says the only thing keeping him from running away and becoming a criminal again is Adora.

He doesn’t (at least at first) view his actions as being bad, he’s never killed anyone after all, and views it more as a game. A sport. Something he has mastered. He doesn’t just love tricking people, he loves the danger it presents. It gives him is drive. The thrill of danger, and being alive.

He keeps this same mindset until the very end, that he’s tricking everyone, even tho he’s just doing his job.

So I’d say his spark is the thrill of it all, barely being caught, snaking his way out of anything. It gives him life.

And honestly?? He has to be just some guy. Like he acts like he’s hot shit and would probably do anything to be the center of attention, but in the end he’s just this guy hiding behind his persona. Cus even tho he loves the danger, it’s different when it’s his fake identity or himself facing it. He hardly ever lets the real him slip to the surface, he drowns it out with fake smiles and the right words. The only person he’s really honest with is Adora, and that’s cus she’s the only one that can penetrate his outer shell and see him for who he really is. He isn’t even vulnerable to Vetinari, they both treat their interactions as a game.

Umm idk where I’m going with this but I’m sure you’ll do amazing!!! I really hope you get the part!! ^^
