There had been so much going on since Rapunzel’s return Arianna barely had a moment to think, never mind finding her daughter's rescuer on his own.

So when she found him taking a quiet moment in the Royal library, she seized the opportunity.

"I haven't had the chance to thank you properly."

The door opened and Arianna entered, after all the excitement of the last week, with the celebrations and Rapunzel's return, she' hardly had a moment to herself, never mind a moment alone with Rapunzel.

"Hello, Sunbeam." Rapunzel looked like she'd been up for awhile, and busy from the looks of things.

Your father has already started his day, but I thought you and I could have breakfast together, in the garden?"

Rapunzel had been up since before the sun, and hadn’t been able to fall back asleep, even with Pascal’s help. Currently she’d been working on a sewing project, a new dress for herself, when she heard her mothers voice.

Her mother. Her real, actual, mother.

“Yes! I mean, yes you can come in!” She corrected herself into a more, not so excited tone. Punzie quickly moved her project into a more neat pile than it had been moments ago.
