          “ maybe ‘cuz the first word in that sentence was  S T A B L E . ”  peter is probably his best friend in the  GALAXY,  but that doesn’t mean he’s without flaws.  for instance,  the guy has always been running  to  or  from  something since richard  met  him.  not exactly synonymous with the kind of stability he’s looking for.  or most women are looking for,  for that matter. 

          “ not for nothing,  pete,  but you and  stable  are practically oxymorons.  ”  okay  …  that came out a bit harsher than he meant it to.  “ but,  i mean,  that’s not a  bad thing.  you just aren’t to the  SETTLE DOWN  part of your life.  you’ll get there when you get there,  man. ”
