I swear I'm still alive, just got caught in the vicious cycle of too much work and not enough rest. I've never had much trouble with sleep but lately I'm so exhausted that when I hit the bed I just toss and turn. I didn't know that was even possible. If you got any remedies, I'll take them. The citizens of bearcreek have been very helpful. More so than I expected. Did not occur to me that small town people would be so ready to party. I have been in this business ling enough to be very confident when I say this, but do your farm boy thing but shirtless and I can assure you no one's gonna have a problem with your two step.

We have something called bottle girls, and smiling while opening bottles is pretty much their entire job. I've never had a bottle boy before, so if you're interested I can put you to work.

I've got things a little bit more together than I did back in high school and college, but that's not saying much -- and if it looks like I know what I'm doing, then I guess I must be a better actor than I thought, ha. At least we don't have to have things figured out right now, plenty of time and all that.

I would totally be interested! As someone who has more training with horses and animals, I could use some more human saving classes. I'm sure I can't be the only one around here that would go for that! Have you gotten a lot of interest?

I want to offer a free emergency first aid class every month, including CPR and chest compressions and how to use certain equipment like fire extinguishers and AED's. I know these classes are already available but most of them cost money and the ones that don't either far away or not super comprehensive, but there should be at least one person in every household who has this knowledge.

Is this something that would interest you? if so what would you like to see/learn? If not, what could I do to spark your interest?

Wow, really? Seems like we have some things in common. I also lived in Texas while I was in college, before I moved back here. So you enjoyed the ranch then? I guess I get that; everyone wants to fit in. Do you embrace it now though? I think accents are awesome and unique. I mostly do at night before bed... and then I can't fall asleep.

My best friend owns a ranch, inherited it from his granddaddy, which I spent my summers as a kid hanging out on, so I get your bias, for sure. He really is, isn't he? I never realized growing up just how lucky I was, but you can be guaranteed I've come to that realization since then. He's the best man I know. And you're welcome! From what I understand, it's gotten quite a bit of attention so there will probably be an uptick in business at the garage.

Thanks, Chloe. I definitely agree. Most likely the young ones are gonna get adopted easily, but this one had been waiting for a while for a home. He should live out his golden years happily, you know? He's some kind of hunting hound dog. His name was Buddy, but I changed it to Copper. You know the reference? I appreciate it! I've been taking him to the dog park some because he hasn't been around others except at the shelter, but he's pretty friendly so far. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to have someone cuter than me walking him around.

Firstly, I have to applaud you for adopting an older dog, that's so amazing of you. A lot of people will specifically go for a pup, but the old dogs need loving just as much, if not more in some cases. What kind of dog did you get? What's his name? I'm so excited to walk him.

It really did take forever, and of course you had to come up with a really cool name for said playlist as well. Oh god, the viruses were the worst. If I wanted to put the effort into it, I could definitely burn it onto a CD. With how available everything is today, I can't believe I used to regularly spend hours burning music onto CDs. Hours and sometimes days depending on how long it takes me to find and download the music, then get it arranged the way I like, and just...it was so time consuming. And I killed at least two computers with the viruses.

Thank you! And yes, I pulled the trigger earlier today! I saw the other house, but it was no competition. I had fallen in love the second I stepped into the house, and I doubt any other place could have swayed me.

Anytime, sunshine! Honestly mine is usually just chilling with my dog and watching tv or reading a book, plus getting in a nice long ride with one of the horses. I'll have to keep that in mind about the chores, although I'm a disaster when it comes to dancing! You may have to give me lessons. You know, I kinda feel that way too, although I think I'm happier that there's no more school days to deal with. It's a decent trade.

He's a bloodhound, so he definitely has some copper shades to him. The shelter had already given him the name but I kept it 'cause it reminds me of The Fox and the Hound. That's a great idea, thank you! I will be sure to do that and send one your way. You got any pets?

Mine consists of music, dancing while I do chores (it's the secret to making them bearable!), and self-care, which is so very important. Wow, that's really neat then! What kind of dance do you teach? One of my jobs is on the family's ranch, so I have a similar commute. You were going to Philly before for work? Alright, so I'm sure it's not news that the first house I looked at a few months ago was not the great deal that I'd been hoping for. But a couple more houses later and with the help of my dads and an awesome friend who made sure that I was doing the best with my mortgage and all that legal stuff, I am officially a home owner! Actually, this all became official like a few weeks ago and with the help of many more friends and family, I'm all moved in and set up! So now I'm trying to decide if I should host a summer BBQ or just a small get together with a few close friends. Either way, it's totally gonna have some sort of fun theme!
