INTRODUCING : EMILIA MESSER .

emilia was that kid who didn’t try hard in school but still managed to pass with flying colours. her issue was that she didn’t apply herself much. she only seemed to care about soccer and her social life.

she was closer to older brother danny than she ever was with the oldest messer louie. she didn’t like that both of them were involved in a gang and stopped speaking to them for a long time as a kid because of this.

could have gone professional with soccer and for a time played for a college on a scholarship but an injury led to the end of that career option. she went on to float between jobs, feeling lost now that she had to choose a different path in life, until her brother suggested that she do something with her intelligence so she went back to school for forensic science. danny didn’t exactly mean to encourage her to follow his path but he was proud nonetheless -- louie wasn’t too pleased about having another family member join law enforcement.

she likes to keep things super casual, whether that’s her relationships, friendships or on the job. she has a habit of over-talking and likes to keep busy - if she’s idle she tends to fidget and when she fidgets she tends to break / drop things... which is ironic considering her job expects her to be super careful all the time.

is an early riser and tends to go running before breakfast, likes to spend her spare time in sports bars or with her family / friends, and has a massive love for puzzles. there’s a worn down rubik’s cube on her desk and one of her desk drawers is filled with completed sudoku, crosswords and pens with missing lids - she chews lids constantly, not even a borrowed pen is safe, and is a cheeseburger enthusiast. if she’s not asking for a cheeseburger you can assume there’s something wrong.
