- the family already love rose and welcome her into the coven quickly

- the sisters all love spending time together as though they were still teenagers and will often paint each other’s nails/do each other’s hair

- excited to have new company, the sisters are full of adoration and shower her with compliments

- mostly about her hair

- rose and kate like to go for walks around towns late at night, they work as a pair to take down strange men and dangerous people

- they don’t drink their blood, but the two of them together kick some ass

- tanya is like the big sister rosalie never knew she needed, as they spend more time together tanya becomes more open in confiding i’m rosalie and telling her the stories and history of the denali coven

- while all the denalis are welcoming, rosalie couldn’t help but notice how carmen had been more reserved. she was less likely to participate in the girls activities.

- rosalie couldn’t understand why carmen didn’t want to be around her as much, and this frustrated her

- she turned bitter towards carmen, who is hurt by this, but is too polite to add to the tension

- similarly to the ‘fight’ in breaking dawn, the family find themselves faced in another tense stand-off with another, more dangerous coven

- during which carmen is pushed aside and falls to the ground, another vampire from a different clan lunges towards her

- rosalie runs to her, pulling her up and out of the way, taking her place and, luckily, destroying the attacker instantly

- rose can’t help but stand in front of her, blocking her from harm for the remainder of the battle

- the coven escape without harm and later that evening carmen pulls rosalie aside

Thinking about casual dominance with the Cullens

Carlisle makes sure you bring a jacket whenever you go out. You both could be halfway out the door and he’ll turn around just to go get one for you (not without a gentle scolding, of course)

Esme never lets you cook for yourself. She’s so excited to have someone to cook for. Plus, it allows her to make sure you’ve eaten well that day.

Edward keeps track of all your likes and dislikes. He can order for you at restaurants flawlessly and is not afraid to send the dish back if it’s not up to standards. It also lets him keep Alice’s party plans in check (after all, you can’t enjoy yourself if things are subpar)

Jasper has a hand on your waist at almost all times. He guides you through crowds and away from people he deems threatening. He’d also kneel and tie your shoelaces for you if they came undone. He doesn’t want you to trip!

Emmett is not about to let people disrespect you. If someone gets a little too passive aggressive in history class, he’s gonna call them out on it. Holds you close and glares at them in the cafeteria.

Alice picks your outfits. She insists she knows more about fashion than you and that you should listen to her expertise, but it’s usually just so you two can match. She’d even help you get dressed if you let her.

Rosalie helps take care of you. Makes sure you drink lots of water and brush your teeth every morning/night. She’d definitely give you a little “excuse me?” look if you say the routines aren’t that important (because taking care of you is important)

Carlisle is a very rich man which means he will spoil you a lot. Not only with expensive gifts but also with a lot of attention and affection.

Every time when he gets home from work, he welcomes you with a kiss and warm hug.

When he has a day off, he will cook with you (even tho he cannot eat it, it's just about the time he can spend with you) or you will lay on his lap with his hand stroking your hair and book in his other hand, reading to you.

Being alive for just over 400 years tends to give one a good perspective on life and the bigger picture, and Carlisle sure has a pretty good idea of how all things pan out. So you're not interested in him? That's fine, Carlisle can wait for as long as you need to change your mind.

You and Emmett had been good friends for a while so when he casually drops a blissful "We should get married" into the conversation, you initially choke on your drink in laughter.

Emmett's a little heartbroken that you'd laugh at something like that, considering that he was being 100% serious. But since you've known him, the both of you have been constantly cracking up jokes, trying to get on each other's nerves, so no wonder you thought this was another one of his pranks. She's a little confused obviously, having multiple visions of the two of you in a romantic relationship kind of gave her the impression that it might've been going to come true, but your disinterest says something else altogether.

‘When you know, you know’- Rosalie Hale Headcannons!!

• Rosalie had learned about you though Alice. Alice had seen you in a vision one night while talking with Bella, stoping in her tracks, smiling and acting all giddy like a little girl.

Alright, we can do this.

Alice

She picks a white pumpkin, first off, no orange pumpkins here. She then goes for an artistic, minimalist, design where instead of carving a face she just carves a single triangle.

She then puts 10,000 of these pumpkins all over the house and they all look the same.

Bella

We see 0 indication Bella has any artistic ability in canon. She doodles mysterious shapes one time. I imagine her pumpkin looks like garbage and Edward assures her it's great, it's so good, it looks just like Esme's perfect pumpkins/I love you so much Bella and your flaws just make you more beautiful.

This pumpkin becomes A Deal as it now is a statement of how much they appreciate Bella and "no, of course it doesn't look bad..."

Carlisle

I have no idea.

And since I don't, I'll just go ahead and do whatever I want. Somebody in this family gets to be shitty at the arts and that's Carlisle.

His pumpkin is a monstrosity that looks like it was created by a toddler. Alice is so offended she accidentally throws it in the trash.

Edward

Edward really doesn't want to do this. If Christmas is childish, Halloween is ten thousand times worse. He really really really thinks this is stupid.

However, he will persevere, for Carlisle and Esme.

Edward very begrudgingly carves a pumpkin, then, depending when this is in canon, either carves Carlisle's face, Esme's face, or Bella's face in hyper realistic detail.

Emmett

He gets a) the biggest pumpkin he can find anywhere (and this is a cross state endeavor, b) he carves a very mean but stupid looking face to indicate this is a fierce pumpkin.

Possibly also gives it bear ears.

Esme

Esme's pumpkin is beautiful and either features a) your standard jack-o-lantern face (but perfect) or b) hyper detailed flowers and meadows that makes your jack-o-lantern look like shit.

Possibly, she does at least twenty of these all with a theme. (Imagine The Brady Bunch, all as pumpkin faces.

Jasper

Jasper does whatever Alice tells him to.

Renesmee

Renesmee wants to carve something random but is forced by the Edward, Bella, and Jacob trifecta to carve a wolf.

Rosalie

Rosalie gets very into her pumpkin, picks a theme each year, spends ages designing it, and goes for an extravagant display. She's built several cars out of pumpkins.

You were the daughter of an old friend of Esme's, your mother died giving birth to you and your biological father just wasn't fit to take care of you. Esme and Carlisle took you in under your bio-mom's wishes.

Anyway, Esme was over the moon excited to have a baby in the house, she practically never put you down... Unless Carlisle wanted to hold you and cuddle you.

- For just a second, she just stays there, taken aback by your scent. Rosalie always made sure to stay away from you, like you were the grinch or something. Anyway, she never had caught even a whiff of your smell. And thank god she didn't because otherwise she would have been whipped months ago.

- From the moment you introduced yourself, she could never leave your side. Like immediatly glued to your hip.

- And god the way she would work on your own car. She had smiled so smugly when she offered her help, and even more so when she got up, covered in slight soot.

- All those moments spent together meant the world to her. She loved your smile, she loved the way you were so human, so unaware of the danger lurking. Your fragility terrified her and rightfuly so.

- She never looked as beautiful as she does now, and you couldn't the slight rubbing of your thighs together as you watched her work.

- The time she fell truly for you was the time she played piano for you. She was not nearly as good as her brother. Actually, the reason she started to learn that instrument was to compete with her brother. But she wasn't as good, so when the melody got complex, the notes started to get crooked.

- It was a big step for her, showing you her flaws, sort of. The music didn't come out quite right, not as pretty as you thought it would come out from a majestic instrument. But you simply leaned your head on her shoulder, listening innocently, enjoying everything she is. Rosalie promised to herself you will never need anything, that nothing would ever hurt you.

- You had the odd hobby to walk through the forest, and the deepest parts too ! Rosalie had followed you around, without your knowledge (she is Edward's sister after all).

- And one day, the thought she dreaded the most occured. She had fallen a bit late and struggled to find you. And when she did, her frozen blood started to boil in her veins.

- Here you were cornered by a mountain lion, panting and stepping back as slowly as you could.

- No... you were her little deer. You were her lovely. No one. No, no one will take her piece of heaven away.

The Cullens:

Carlisle takes great pride in his grooming, but tends to go for scentless soaps because some of his patients have allergies. Always somehow smells a little like disinfectant when he gets home after work. He somehow smells very ancient, like incense and a scent you might discover walking through an extremely old and dusty church.

Everything about Esme smells delicate. Her favorite scents as a human were floral and light, like lavender and rosewater. Definitely has an aroma of perfume that trails after her, though she doesn't wear any.

The only way to really describe Edward's scent is clean. Icy cedar, fresh snow, and oranges. It's a pure, subtle scent.

Rosalie's scent is arguably the most powerful. It isn't strong, but it's enticing. It's like warm Tennessee Whiskey and dripping honey - a scent that's designed to seduce and draw you in.

Emmett would absolutely smell like Axe body spray if Rosalie would let him wear it - she doesn't. It stings EVERYONE's noses to an insane degree. Overall, though, Emmett smells like warm velvet, like a blanket you've just pulled out of the dryer.

Even after all this time, Jasper still carries the faint scent of gunpowder. There's something about his scent that stings, like mint and eucalyptus.

Alice smells like salt and coconut, like a sweet and windy beach day. She also carries a light scent of sparking ozone, but it's so faint that sometimes they all forget that it's there.

Wolf Pack:

Sam assumes he smells so much like food because of the many hours spent in Emily's kitchen. Sam is warm honey mixed in with steaming oatmeal; fresh bread and maple syrup.

Jared used to smell like leather because of the jacket he always wore to school, but that was destroyed years ago when he phased. It's an extremely manly scent mixed with vanilla and amber.

Paul's scent is very warm and spicy, a natural and earthy woodsy musk, like the soil after a heavy rain. It can tingle your nose, but it's still very attractive.

Surprisingly, the one who smells most like the outdoors is Embry. His whole body is tied to the scent of patchouli and pine; it's a very nature-based scent.

A lot of Jacob's scent is mixed in with how much time he spends around cars, so you'll get a whiff of rush and metal and probably motor oil, but it isn't unpleasant or off-putting.

Tobacco is the leading scent for Quil, which he assumes is because of his grandfather. He also smells very much like ginger and cinnamon.

Though she's never been a big reader, Leah smells like old books and paper. It's a bit of a dusty scent, but goes well when mixed with her favorite vetiver lotion and body wash.

Seth has a very bright and welcoming smell, like cinnamon sugar or a freshly baked pie crust. It's a smell you somehow always associate with your childhood, but you can't put your finger on exactly why.

He'd be interested in your genealogy, because he thinks you're connection to the goth style can't be mere coincidence or personal choice, and it wouldn't be difficult to find out either, all he'd have to do is check if you have any Germanic ancestry from the last 2000 years.

Esme Cullen

If you're happy and comfortable, she's happy and comfortable. While it probably isn't her style personally, she's quick to see the benefits. For instance, black is a very easy colour to maintain, particularly with regards to cleaning.

Her only concern is getting you clothes other than black so that you can have something to wear to events that may require specific colours, like if you two are guests at a wedding (she wouldn't want you wearing black as it's bad luck for the couple).

Edward Cullen

Edward himself is basically a diet-corporate goth, so dating you will probably help him develop his own sense of comfort in the style.

The two of you are regularly seen brooding in the Forks CVS, loitering around the hair dye section, silently terrifying all of the elderly people waiting at the pharmacy.

Edward is likely already very familiar with goth music, has absolutely been to some Bauhaus concerts in his time, and probably has a respectable collection of gothic rock records in his room.

Rosalie Hale

It'll be like a Barbie/Oppenheimer-esque clash in aesthetics. I personally see Rosalie with a very Y2K aesthetic, so the two of you walking down the street together might turn some heads.

That doesn't mean that she isn't fully supportive of your style though, and appreciates the philosophy of the aesthetic, how it's a style built on defying expectations of conformity and obedience. In her short life, all Rosalie knew was to dress properly, smile, be open, happy, a willing host, an amusing guest. In death, she's proud to be herself, and even prouder to be with someone so comfortable with dressing exactly how they want, regardless of what others might think.

Emmett Cullen

You dress scary and Emmett loves it. He has regularly compared you to a venomous snake, your black clothes and aggressive makeup mean that almost everyone in Forks steers clear of you. But not Emmett, he's never had the survival instincts to stay away from things that could kill him, in fact, your "unapproachable" style only drew him in more.

Absolutely loves wandering around Forks with you, even if you aren't particularly doing anything. He thinks it's hilarious that some people cross the street to avoid you, it's like having 'scary dog' privileges.

Alice Cullen

She'd seen you in her visions for some time, but she almost didn't recognise you when you started dressing strangely and wearing heavy makeup. At first, it disturbed her, you looked like the sleep-paralysis demons that used to haunt her in the asylum.

Once she gets the chance to meet you in real life, that fear quickly subsides. Through your relationship, Alice learns how much of a safe space goth society can be, and that she can rely on other goths to not be judgemental towards her like so many others are.

Jasper Hale

Greatly appreciates the Victorian-era elements that are incorporated into your clothes, it helps him feel less old. You'll make his day if you show any interest in his clothes and jewellery that he had in life, particularly the more morbid pieces (such as the ring made out of his mother's hair).

If you're looking particularly historical, he'll love to get in his original clothes from when he was alive (except the ""uniform"" that shan't be mentioned), and stroll about Forks with you, arm in arm, like a true Southern gentleman.

“Motherfucker.” You muttered under your breath as you kicked a rock in your way. You walking to the Cullen house after a fight with your stepdad, again. This time he went through your room, ransacking the place before finding “something” and getting you in trouble.

Not only that, but the dirtbag left you to clean the mess of your room that he made. You opened the door to the Cullen house and made your way upstairs to see Rosalie and Emmett sitting on the couch as they watched some old love movie. She walked over to her desk chair, Alice sitting next to you as Bella sat on the edge of the bed.

“Okay, so what did Mr. “I’m the boss” do now?” She asked as she started to file at her nail. You went on to explain the situation, Rosalie pausing to look up at you.

“No way! What did your mom say?” Alice asked, looking at you with furrowed brows. She took your hand in hers, gently massaging it as you spoke.

“She wasn’t even there, yet even if I did tell her she’d side with him like she always does!” You speak out, Bella looking over.

“I mean, I never had an actual problem with Phil, but there were times I fought with him before coming to Forks. I would sometimes burn his food just a bit when it was my time to cook.” She admitted, trying to make you feel a bit better and give you an idea on how to get revenge.

Honestly, you didn’t know. You rested your head in the palms of your hands, signing heavily as you did you best to think. What to do, what to do.

You could always have Emmett scare him just by his looks. Maybe have Edward read his mind then black mail him. Hell, even have Jasper control his mood to make him not such a dick. You didn’t know what, but you knew you need to pick or else you’d go insane.
