        cheeks  were  aflame,  not  even  raven  tresses could hide the color and she doubted averting her gaze helped much either. flustering yujin was no difficult task; @delicatlueur had certainly mastered it. their words ones that she unquestionably viewed as truth.   ❝ i suppose it can't be that bad then if it's makes me look cute. ❞   she giggled, her smile somehow still growing, a normal occurance whenever nia was around. jinni hummed along with the melody.   ❝ our eardrums also aren't being threatened. ❞

                     “   that’s   …       a   bold   color   ,   huh   ?       i   mean   ,   i   love   the   design   …   ”       nia   casts   another   discerning   eye   over   the   orange   dress   yujin   displays   .       the   vibrant   hue   of   the   dress   is   not   particularly   a   favorite   .       but   the   wishful   look   on   yujin’s   face   captures   their   attention   instead  .       “   purple   ,   you   say   ?   ”       with   a   graceful   gesture   and   a   barely   perceptible   incantation   ,   the   dress   begins   to   shift   ,   its   vibrant   orange   slowly   melting   into   a   shade   of   lavender   ,   ultimately   transforming   it   to   the   desired   color   .       she   raises   an   eyebrow   ,   then   adds   with   a   soft   smirk   ,       “   better   ?       just   a   little   magic   touch   ,   right   ?   ”       //       @stereotypcs

        ❝  look  at  this.  ❞  she  pulled  the  orange dress off the rack and held it up for nia to see. normally she would've moved past, the color not her favorite, but the style alone was too cute. a wishful look crossed delicate features.   ❝ it's a shame there isn't one in purple. it would be perfect then. ❞   yujin's eyes lingered on the witch beside her for a moment too long for her words to be considered meaningless. no one else was around; if they dress happened to change color who was going to know?

                    nia   thinks   yujin   is   just   too   cute   ,   utterly   adorable   .        she’s   the   kind   of   person   the   demi - woman   wants   to   keep   close   .       their   friendship   is   effortless   ,   and   every   interaction   is   accompanied   by   laughter   ,   especially   in   moments   like   these   .       “   hey   ,   being   a   bit   of   a   scaredy   cat   adds   to   your   charm   .       it’s   kinda   cute   ,   ”       they   reassure   ,   warm   smile   on   lips   as   hips   move   to   the   rhythm   of   the   music   .       “   oooooh   …       and   it’s   good   ,   it’s   not   just   some   guy   screaming   into   the   mic   for   once   !   ”       //       @stereotypcs

        laughter  tumbled  freely  off  her  lips.  her high spirits only souring higher in nia's presence, which certainly shined as bright as the stage lights flashing. gently, she squeezed the other's hand.   ❝ i'll probably still be surprised. ❞   yujin shrugged. maybe one day she wouldn't be such a scaredy cat, many had said that she would outgrow it, but here she was at twenty-six still jumping at the smallest things. she only hoped most found it endearing rather than annoying.   ❝ oh my gosh, same! i was spending more time looking for a familar face than enjoying the music ---- but now we can vibe together! i missed the band's name but they're really jamming. ❞

                    nia   finds   herself   delightfully   entertained   by   the   charming   sight   before   her   .       a   rosy   blush   paints   in   yujin’s   cheek   ,   and   nia   nods   ,   slightly   leans   in   ,   gently   presses   her   own   cheek   against   yujin’s   .       “   oh   ,   i’m   so   honored   !   ”       with   a   tender   touch   ,   her   fingers   gently   interlock   with   the   other’s   as   they   both   sway   to   the   music   .       “   next   time   i’ll   try   to   sneak   up   on   you   with   a   bit   more   finesse   .       ⏤   you’re   absolutely   right   !       i   seriously   didn’t   think   i’d   bump   into   any   of   my   friends   in   this   massive   crowd   ,   but   then   i   spotted   you   ,   totally   vibing   in   your   own   little   world   …       i   couldn’t   resist   coming   over   !   ”

        her  heartbeat  settled  once  she  realized  who had snuck up on her, but the color that had rushed to her cheeks didn't alter. not joining in on the laughter, however, was impossible; yujin nodded as giggles fell from her lips.   ❝ only a little. ❞   there was no point in denying it when it was so obvious. like her doe eyes, yujin often startled as easily as one.   ❝ but if anyone was going to scare me, i'm glad it was you. ❞   her hands reached out to take nia's.   ❝ a concert is much more fun with company! ❞

                    nia’s   eyes   flicker   with   amusement   ,   observing   yujin   lost  in   the   music   ,   swaying   to   the   beat   .       caught   up   in   the   atmosphere   of   the   festival   ,   nia   can’t   resist   joining   the   fun   ,   playfully   sneaking   up   behind   yujin   and   gently   encircling   the   woman’s   neck   ,   resting   her   other   hand   on   the   girl’s   arm   .       the   action   prompts   an   adorable   startled   reaction   from   yujin   ,   quickly   followed   by   a   warm   ,   infectious   giggle   that   escapes   nia’s   lips   .       “   whoa   ,   hold   up   !       did   i  just   scare   you   ?   ”

        with  the  music  pounding  in  her  ears, despite the distance between herself and the heart of the festival, yujin was fairly oblivious to her surroundings, focused instead on enjoying the current performance. she bounced on her feet in time with the music. when a hand rested on her arm, she started with a gasp, spinning around quickly.   ❝ omg ! were you trying to scare me? ❞ a light accusation at best, softened by the giggle that tumbled off her lips.
