okay so i just happened to stumble across your blog and uh. idk what made you pick santiago but i am going INSANE because he is such a perfect fc??? for tony stark??? like i am losing my mind rn, galaxy brain pick actually, i have never wanted anything to be real so badly. also your writing is fantastic and i've been here for only a few minutes and i just think you're super neat!!!! i don't have an mcu blog and i'm hesitant to follow anyone bcuz of past bad experiences, but i figured i'd leave a lil note anyways. i hope you are having a good night!!

forgive the ugly mobile reply but i woke up to this and had to answer! thank you so very much, nonnie! it always makes me so happy to hear that folks are enjoying my version of tony. as for the fc pick, i can tell you the exact moment in time where i decided santiago would be my tony for life. sometime in 2016, i picked up an invincible iron man comic where tony was very blatantly drawn as santiago during his time on the three musketeers show. me, who had wanted to rp tony but could never figure out an fc said: FINALLY! and immediately picked up tony as santi for my friends marvel rp and never looked back since. 😌

I like soup. Do you like soup? Here's soup. One large butternut squash. Cut it in half. When I make it, I try to score the thing so it gets more of a change to get the crispy roast edges, but butternut squashes are a weird shape and hard as hell so this could cut a finger off, ngl. Put your squash on a baking sheet alongside a whole head of garlic, cut in half, and a large onions cut in quarters. Cover everything in a neutral oil, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Shove that in the oven at 350°F until everything looks soft and smushy like golden hour. Scoop the squash out of its skin and into a large pot. This is easier when the squash is hot, so wear gloves (or say goodbye to your fingertips, who cares). Squeeze the newly roasted onion, garlic, and thyme into the pot as well. Reseason, this time with tumeric and ginger. I like to add heavy cream and a knob of butter, but you can replace this with coconut cream if you want full vegan. In the pot, use an immersion blender to make all these solids liquid. (If you find yourself immersion blender less, use a regular blender and then pour your new liquids into a pot.) Heat and stir. Serve with crusty bread. Honestly this is best during a cold day or when you want something like pumpkin spice but better.
