thrilled to announce that for the first time in 4 years, we have had a relatively peaceful family christmas where not one parent ended up crying
#my siblings made me cry once but like#that barely counts cos they hit a nerve i didn’t know i had#and unlike some people im capable of dealing with my own issues without letting it spill over to the family#and its all g now#but yeah!!!#first time in 5 years i didn’t head into the new year using characters with incredibly dubious coping techniques#as a form of catharsis and emotional escapism#the anxiety is hitting as a result but sure look#its less damaging than adopting certain characters headspaces#all im saying is two years ago matt murdock was who i identified with most 😬#(watch these tags age poorly when the SAD reaches peak in feb/march but ah sure)
