doing my part to combat the culture of taking photos of people without their consent by drawing cartoons from memory
#em draws#when i was about 16 i decided to write a story about a regional orchestra#the conductor character was a middle-aged woman with short hair and glasses#i abandoned the story because i realized very quickly i didn’t know how to write a professional and non dysfunctional music group dynamic#(was basing it off my unprofessional and dysfunctional string orchestra)#but flash forward four years later and i got accepted into an orchestra#conducted by—you guessed it—a middle aged woman with short hair and glasses#even more funny is that. i even named my character the same name as my conductor today#i think it’s weirder than when i predicted shinzo abe’s resignation#the transcendent third
