like, which story that I definitely am not capable of doing full justice to do I nevertheless attempt first, Kira/Winn as-canon, the sublime concept of Kira/Winn ageswap, or the original fiction about a woman fanatic that I have already been attempting to do justice to for years already

#I cannot get over how amazing both the pairing as-is is and the ageswap are #I don't even have an Approved Biographical Reason to be so fucking into women and violentish religious devotion and YET #(violentish only meant to convey that the like Christian martyr model is not at all what I find interesting #it's not the religion at all it's the... whatever that is #teeth #it's just that I can't offhand think of any other fictional treatment of the whatever it is that doesn't couch it as religious #and historical war stories actually-- definitely found a very similar vibe in my women's WWI literature class #but none(?) of those make into the wider consciousness or away from their original autobiographicalish authors #actually I reblogged a bit of Sweetheart Of The Song Tra Bong the other week didn't I #that's like the one exception #but it's not a full exception; it absolutely pings the same chords but it remains external as it is right to do)#anyway #I've finally started writing sincere classic Gay Reading fanfic #may as well embrace the whole thing and do The Source Material Touched On My Very Particular Interest One Time And Oh Boy Let's Go fanfic #but also it's a great ship even if you aren't me I will assert this
