Oh hey turns out the downside of living in a community where I have ties to more people means I have more reasons to be really nervous when something terrible happens in my community 🙃
#no more just “oh no! this happened near me!”#now “wait that was near my mom 😬 and my niblings were out that way today too 😬😬😬”#there was a shooting at a neighborhood water park today 🙃#its like 50 miles from me and also my brothers family were probably 30 miles away while my mom lives like 10 miles from there#but I dont think the eastern suburbs are that big so clearly Belle Isle is right on top of Rochester Hills which is also the same as Berkley#(by “eastern suburbs” I DO mean the entirety of Macomb and Wayne counties and the eastern half of Oakland)#(only real metro Detroit is Washtenaw Livingston and western Oakland counties)#(to everyone not familiar with Detroit this is funny because Washtenaw and Livingston are historically Not Metro Detroit and#western Oakland was the Outer Suburbs when I was a kid and farmland when my brother was young)#(wayne is where Detroit is)#roz says a thing
